If the board awards the use of private jets for so many hours of personal use as part of the comp and the share holders are happy and they properly account for the use of company fleets of cars, helicopters, jets, etc why the hell do you care?
It’s called comp.
The top exec’s at Harris-Lanier, Motorola, IBM, Apple, Microsuck, whatever....all get comp plans that included strict rules the IRS doesn’t mind finding an error of, just to liberate a few more dollars by way of fines and penalties, not to mention what the SEC, FCC and any other enforcement bureaucracy would take action on just because they can.
And, and the several states also have their versions of fed rats.

Was particularly satisfying as I didn’t like 1/2 the people I worked with(poosies and lazy) and I didn’t care for the guy above me but, between me and headquarters.

Wow. Now I have heard just about everything. The consensus by a lot of people has been that the crew of Real News are all over the map and that as long as S.E. Cupp was on the show it stunk. Well she left the show, but the show has some libertarians, but also mixes in conservatives and it is hard to know who is who at times. The pundits rotate all the time and only conservative Buck Sexton and that other guy who used to do Soledad O’ Brien’s show remain. Amy Holmes left. Another woman replaced. So with all that in mind, some shows are good and some are not. Meanwhile, I have read for nearly two years people bashing The Five. And many were either Fans of Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity’s radio show or against Bob Beckel. It interesting to find someone who watches The five and Real News only and skips Glenn Beck, Andrew Willkow and Cavuto or Bret Baier’s nightly show.
Anybody who writes stoopit instead of Stupid is not worth my time reading. This guy on youtube is a pretty good guy. However, I don’t agree with the Ala Carie model. I agree that if some don’t want Al Jazeera they should be able to cut it. But Ala Carte is a mess to run. People just don’t agree about anything more so good luck trying to justify the existence of a channel that others don’t want.
He is right though about the fact that once the net is improved then it will end cable. People will be to watch what they want. He yaks on about Netflix, which I don’t care for or ever use. But the concept is right.

It will have an impact but, like the copier that was suppose to die years ago, we still print 10% more paper than we did the previous year, every year.
The producers of shows that are on alternative channels will still need an outlet to advertise their shows and cable seems to be the best way to do that.
How is anyone going to hear about great shows like Graceland, Covert Affairs, Suits, etc?
It’s still pretty easy for humans to pick up a wand with buttons on it and channel surf.
