I'd love to know where you mounted it! When we were on vacation last year, we saw an exterminator's business with a giant steel black widow spider on the front lawn. We stopped and got pictures of our kids with it, and the guy came out and said that happened all the time, and gave us Frisbees with his business name.
For those who doubted my excuse for posting late on Saturday here is the proof. Manta Ray is now hanging at Father Fish Aquarium in Venice, Fl.
The ray is made of 1/4" sheet steel and was created by Dan Swails, artist. The creation took 7 months to create, weighs 600 lbs and is 14' wide.
