Steny Hoyer dos no have the time nor inclination to read my emails, he is too busy stuffing his nose into Obama’s butt.

If we vote no on Syria then Iran and USSR understand this to mean we will not stop Iran from going nuclear. That is what this is all about, Iran, not Syria. If we show no backbone here, which we are already doing, Iran gets the bomb and the world changes to Darth Vader...

This administration has no plans to stop Iran from getting nukes . No matter what comes out of this administrations mouth about protecting Israel it needs to be taken as a lie, it is completely sold out to Saudi money. A limited strike against Assad isn't going to do much but united the people who are fighting right now to go against Israel.

It's better to sit back and watch them kill each other and use up their weapons on each other . It's better to encourage the arab nations to send their own fighters there and expend their own weapons instead of saving them to use against Israel.

Meanwhile it buys Israel some time to prepare and might offer her chances to quietly take out specific targets while her enemies are busy fighting each other.

When God confounds ones enemies to kill each other instead of fighting you it's a blessing that needs to be taken advantage of . (Psalm 83)

As far as I’m concerned the little armchair generals can go fight on their own dime.

Agreed.

Meanwhile it buys Israel some time to prepare and might offer her chances to quietly take out specific targets while her enemies are busy fighting each other.

Israel has already hit Syria at least 3 times doing a lot of damage to the Syrian regime’s arsenal. The Israeli Air Force even flies down to Sudan to hit weapons motorcades on their way up to the Sinai desert for the Bedouin and Gazan HAMAS.
Israel knows that when BHO says, “I’ve got your back” American Jews believe it. Netanyahu knows the score regarding Obama’s willingness to do something other than condemn settlements on the West Bank. The Jews of Israel know the truth that is why they are gearing up for a very tough situation coming soon. All this while the Europeans sip Latte’.
Israel alone...again!

So...to avoid the chaos thingy, we just sit back and wait for them to bait us again and again? We do nothing for fear that we will get sucked into a direct Iranian USA conflict? What do we do when they get the bomb? Sit back? Let them choke off the world economy?

We have to respond at some point and lobbing 37 Tomahawks at Syria will do nothing significant.

There is no way for us to avoid WWIII. We’ll be sucked into it at some point in time.

I was only pointing my finger at the source of the present “crisis”.

Toomey might vote no in a desperate bid to win back conservative support he lost when he tried to push through gun control. He knows he sunk his career on that one, so he's more likely to vote on the conservative side, hoping we will all forget his mistake when he's up for re-election. This conservative, however, won't forget.

I emailed Congressman Doyle, although I know from past experience he will vote however his Dem masters tell him to. The man has no backbone. He's your typical Democrat, always knowing what's best for us.

We should attack Syria. In the bill, defund Obamacare.

Let Obama decide which is more important.

Well put, Lera

I really don’t see ANY reason to be getting involved- hard to believe the ‘evidence’ that Assad went chemical when everything seems to be turning his way over the last 6 mos... just doesn’t make sense.

Just like Libya, the Russians are right, and are wrong

Never thought I’d live to see the day...

Easy to see what is going to happen. If a YES vote happens on the warring, the budget battle is over. It will all be tied to the warring.

Way to go America!

More debt, more maiming and body bags.

Maybe the real reason of Obamas obsession with Syria is it
takes eyes off his various domestic problems... obamacare, budget fight, etc....... IOW, just another diversion.

The past year, all seems one crises after another. Do others here think the same..!? It did fill time on the Sunday TV talk circuit for another weekend.

Sorry to hear men, women and children are drying in Syria. However, that is not our problem, it is not our military’s problem and thus, it’s not our country’s problem.

I would not even know what side to fight for or against.

For this reason, I suggest they figure it out on their own and I will pray for it to be over fast with the proper out come.

Only God knows who should win.

Yep I agree . Now is the time to completely choke Hamas and allow no weapons /fuel into the Gaza strip . Can't let them prepare for war and with everything else going on it is the perfect time to starve these guys out and make it impossible for them to fight . In fact they should be encourage to go help the Syrians and then lot ever let them back into the strip .
Those strikes into Syria and taking out those ammo dumps have been brilliant.

As far as Iran goes they are currently wasting their blood and resources in Syria and that is a good thing to as it just weakens them more . I trust the Israelis to watch closely for the opportunity to take out their nuke capabilities . It won't be long now before they have enough enriched uranium for 4 bombs . Once they get them I have a sinking feeling they will test a couple on the very people who have done nothing to stop them (meaning the U.S)Israel is going to have to take the others out on their own because there is no way this anti-israel administration is going to do it for him.

You can also be that our ship sitting out there like ducks have specific orders to only hit so many targets and only use so many missles no matter what happens . We are so screwed for electing a closet muslim.
