Another RINO Wants War (John Cornyn)
fitsnews.com ^ | 9/3/13 | fitsnews

Posted on 09/03/2013 9:13:53 AM PDT by cotton1706

U.S. Sen. John Cornyn (RINO-Texas) is signaling support for American intervention in Syria’s civil war because it will help U.S. President Barack Obama save face with the “bullies” of the world.

“I believe what I’ve been told and what we’ve all been told that it’s indisputable that chemical weapons have been used,” Cornyn told a Texas radio station last week. “The president said that’s a ‘red line,’ and I think for him not to do anything since the red line has been crossed would just send a signal to Iran who’s building nuclear weapons , and other bullies of the world that we don’t mean what we say.”

Ah … Obama’s “red line.” Along with dubious intelligence … what a great reason to get involved in another Middle Eastern conflict (not).

Cornyn joins fellow “Republican” warmongers like U.S. Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham in supporting military action against the regime of Syrian president Bashar al-Assad – even though there is no compelling national interest involved (and even though intervening in the conflict puts the American military on the same side as these al-Qaeda butchers).

This website has written repeatedly in opposition to American involvement in Syria’s civil war (here, here, here and here) – arguing it serves no compelling American interest and will only make our citizens less safe by needlessly stoking anti-American extremism.

This Syria bs is all to distract us from the Amnesty bill that is coming up. It’s to get us thinking about this BS while they pass the amnesty bill behind our backs So we don’t lobby our congressmen to not pass amnesty

call Congress . tell them no immigration related bill from the House. Focus people

They Just Don't Listen To Their Constituency!

Ted Cruz is right in not endorsing him for re-election!

I think you're right.

They are pushing us into scandal overload so we stop focusing on individual scandals. Like immigration amnesty, like the collapse of obamacare, like running guns to the cartels. Like IRS thugs going after administration critics.

All that is swept from the headlines by another media freakout.

Going to war just to save Obama’s arrogant face...what a miserable excuse for killing Syrians and putting our military back in danger.

I sent my congressman another email this morning to remind him that I’ve supported him despite a few bad votes but Syria is my red line and I’m not nearly as indecisive as Obama. If he votes to fund Obama’s folly, I’ll be actively campaigning against him.

I agree. What better way to distract the people from the invasion of our own borders than to start a war overseas.

This is all about Russia’s monopoly on European natural gas and the desire of the Arab states to break into that market. It has NOTHING to do with chemical weapons, Iran’s nuke, or the continued existence of Israel.

This is something that Saudi Arabia and its client and satellite states want. We are clearly now a full-on client-state of the Saudi Arabian Empire. They say JUMP and we ask HOW HIGH AND WHEN, SIR.

This may be the reason Obama bowed when meeting the Saudi leaders.

There IS *some* good news that comes out of this, if Russia and China hold their fire and don’t respond to our WWIII provocation:

Now that we are fully a client, satellite-state of the Saudi Arabian Empire, they are likely to spend some of their trillions floating our impossible economy by buying our worthless bonds.

That means we get a few more years before we become a full-on, Max-Max third world shithole.

Me, I’m stocking up and planning a way out.

Chemical weapons have been used but who did the using, Senator Mush-for-Brains Cornyn? Who did the using?

So when do we stop lining up, “holding our noses” and vote RINO? It is why we are in this mess.

The next shot-heard-round-the-world might not be from Russia or China. Obama evidently has the votes in Congress. But he doesn't have the American people behind him.

So Obama might try to rally the American people by staging a false-flag attack on one of those American ships near the Syrian coast. Or he could simply arrange for one of those ships to be hit by an actual Syrian retaliation missile after the initial US strike.

Right. Well-observed.

I will be voting for Cornyn's primary challenger. If Cornyn wins the nomination, I will either not vote or vote third party (if there is one) or for the dem. With not a dime's worth of difference between a RINO and a 'Rat, I'd at least be sticking it to a back-stabbing traitor.

I stopped awhile back. I left my ballot for senate blank last November and thousands like me did the same and Scott Brown was sent packing.
