TexGrill Thread: Tea Party members and conservative Republicans, it's time to face the cold hard facts. The GOP establishment does not love you, and of course Democrats have no love for you either. However, it seems apparent that the USA is turning into a one-Party state ruled by Democrats. Right now, the Democrat Party has turned into a unified, but unfortunately Leftist political machine.
Shouldn't it be time the Tea Party folks throw a wrench into that machine and register as Democrats? Sounds crazy? Yes, but what's more crazy is expecting the GOP to change course and welcome the Tea Party with open hearts and when they eventually do it will be too late.
So if you're going to be hated by both political parties, why not join the one that will hold the levers of power for the next few decades to come.
Besides, just take a look at how Karl Rove and his sabotage schemes against the Republican Party have been so effective, and it's time for some people to turn the tables and do the same to the Democrat Party.

Let the Democratic ‘Progressive/Liberal/Socialist’ party sink into oblivion on it’s own accord. Diluting the Tea Party(s) is not the answer.
GOP will sink into oblivion too.
Sounds like Limbough’s “operation chaos”, in which he succeeded only in outsmarting himself.
No. Rather go to war. Evil can only be killed, never accommodated.
No, no and.....NO!
Funny I posted this idea yesterday and wrote my R congressman that I was changing parties if he votes for this war.
GOP has already sunk into oblivion.
They no longer exist as a party.
I want out, I don’t want to join another party of political whores. I want a party of patriots. People who love America more than they love political perks. A party of honest men.
I know hard to find these days.
Oh, I have no doubt about that. But the Democratic party is going faster. It's immorality, financial irresponsibility and it's unconstitutional ways are making it stink like no tomorrow.
The press is just covering that up right now.
The GOP is the DNC.
Same clowns. Same liars. Same statists.
On the other hand, the GOP also attacks conservatives
mercilessly, including their children (as
Romney the Rat did with Gov. Palin’s children).
I don’t think it is necessary to join any party.
If Republicans vote with Democrats on issues like Syria, in Hillary’s immoral words, “What difference does it make?”
Conservatives need a party of their own, not just so we could support a constitutional government, but to reveal just how much support conservatism still has in this country. The Left hates that idea.
Should a bear stop shi%%ing in the woods?
i changed my reg last year - if anything, to vote in their primaries - i figure my vote has more power there than to a party that courts my vote and then ignores me 3 years and 11 mos of the cycle
We need a new party
I don’t particularly like the name Tea Party, so how about a new party called
Revolutionary Party [REV]
Members are called Revolutionaries
Just a dream
If Ted Cruz and Sarah Palin can get into the Democratic primaries, I might temporarily become a Democrat...
The title of your article does not match the source title. You know the rules.
“Two Democrats Join Republicans at Top of Tea Party Scorecard”
IMHO, the best and most effective strategy is to take over the existing GOP. Trust me, they are very weak and prone to rolling over and playing dead when attacked.
An analogy might be Coke and Pepsi. If Coke is the Democrats, would the best strategy be to take over Pepsi and compete immediately ... or you could start from scratch with the third party Royal Crown Cola.
We could all be DINO’s
The Tea Party should join the Oath Keepers in forming a legitimate and vigorous third party. The could call this Conservative Party the ASAP Party.
(Against (the) Stamp Act Party.)
uh, you need to splain that......
Nothing like a great Royal Crown Cola analogy to start the day!!
And yes, valid analogy too!
Well ... another poster on thread suggested that all we needed was .... the sweater vest!!
I think everyone should join the Democratic Party, no more Republican Party or third parties, just a one party fits all smorgasbord of political gluttony. Nothing else is going to destroy what the left has built with its revolution.
First, all Tea Party members have to join the TP union, and pay dues..
better dead than red....or in this case...blue...
As long as we are stuck with a winner-takes-all electoral college, viable third parties will be a pipe dream.
I’m ready to declare myself a DINO right now. “Stop Obama, Stop Hillary, vote for a Conservative Democrat.”
