It's Time For John McCain To Go
Friends of Ours ^ | 09/08/13 | Friends of Ours

Posted on 09/08/2013 7:27:22 AM PDT by AtlasStalled

John McCain was rightly heckled by many constituents last week in Phoenix, AZ over the blowhard senator's misguided call for bloody war in Syria as reported by Jason Howerton for The Blaze.

The warmongering windbag should just resign. The old fool has done more damage to the national security of the United States than perhaps any other ignorant politician with his repeated support for military intervention and other American meddling in the Middle East. Exactly what has the United States gotten for all of its spent lives and treasure in that God forsaken region of the world? Indeed, if the U.S. never stuck its big nose into the Middle East, then the World Trade Center Towers undoubtedly still would be standing today. And yet Senator McCain and his ilk still think the answer to the problem is more bombs.

Perhaps most disturbing is the sociopathic ease with which McCain calls for war as if it's all fun and games without horrible consequences to American soldiers and Syrian civilians.

The feeble-minded senator once infamously gleefully sang about bombing Iran to the Beach Boys tune "Barbara Ann" as then reported by The Associated Press:

"'That old, eh, that old Beach Boys song, Bomb Iran,' he said in jest Wednesday, chuckling with the crowd. Then, he softly sang to the melody: 'Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, anyway, ah ...' The audience responded with more laughter."

Hahaha -- war is such a joke.

And then last week during Senate hearings to authorize military strikes in Syria the dottering senator was caught playing video poker on his smart phone which in a surreal moment underscored McCain's emotional detachment from the serious debate as reported by Ed O'Keefe for The Washington Post.

Frankly, it's unclear why anyone would listen to Senator McCain on war matters. It's no secret within political circles that McCain is about the dumbest member of Congress, and he graduated at the very bottom -- 894 of 899 -- of his graduating class from the United States Naval Academy.

It's time for John McCain to go, and he should take boy wonder Lindsey Graham with him. These two purported Senate leaders would better serve the country if they just lived together on a deserted island where they could bide their time playing board games rather than war games.

He should have been gone twenty years ago.

On another thread he was referred to a “MeCain”. A very suitable description.

That may be, but right now we have a heck of a lot bigger problems than just John McCain.

The entire GOP is useless, and most are sold out.

We need AMERICAN interests to take-over and run American businesses, for Americans.

We need to stop importing everything.

Bring back American industry.

Now. Bring back American industry.

Republicans.

Fight for American.

It's past time for this arrogant RINO to go. I hope AZ wakes-up and puts him out to pasture. He is dangerously delusional.

To get him gone...and those like him, conservatives must CLOSE their
primaries. That is the root cause for the Mccains of the world. Close primaries. Until that is done, expect no change.

McCain can’t order American forces into combat. Only our Democrat administration can do that. Bringing up McCain is a waste of time and energy. Focus on the Democrats.

Too think he was almost recalled 12 years ago.

RECALL MCCAIN CAMPAIGN ENDS

SEPTEMBER 17, 2001

PHOENIX - This is a time when Americans must rally behind all their leaders, set differences aside, and unite against the forces of evil that have perpetrated and supported the savage attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001. These deplorable acts of war committed against the United States have caused Americans to reassess their priorities and recognize once again that those who live in freedom must also be called upon to defend freedom.

This committee's purpose was to counter legislative threats to the constitutional freedoms guaranteed to all Americans. It is now apparent that there is a more immediate external threat to the freedoms we cherish. This country is at war, and as President Bush has stated, it is a very different kind of war. It is a war against enemies who hide themselves, but we will use every resource to seek them out for retribution. This is a war against enemies who covertly plan their despicable acts for years and we must be prepared for a long and difficult fight to defeat them. This is a war against enemies who have a fanatical belief in their cause, but they will soon learn they have severely underestimated our resolve for the cause of freedom.

With this moral cause in mind, our committee has decided that although our original goal was important, it is no longer in our state and nation’s best interest to remain divided over legislative differences. We began the recall effort to defend our constitutional rights. Now, our right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness is under clear and immediate danger from a well-organized international network of evil. Senator McCain has spoken out strongly against those who have attacked this nation and we pray that he will stress the need for us to set aside internal disagreements and demonstrate support for the Commander-in-Chief during this time of national crisis.

We are suspending our recall petition signing activities and will donate a significant amount of our remaining funds to The Arizona Republic Disaster Relief Fund (http://disasterrelief.azcentral.com). We strongly encourage others to do whatever they can to aid the victims of the September 11th attacks.

He traded on his prisoner-of-war experience for decades. He pandered to the media like some kind of reasonable Republican willing to work across the aisles for non-partisanship’s sake. He got worse....much, much worse.

Self-adulation and aggrandizement took over (with more than a little insanity include, IMO) and he styled himself as the ‘renegade’, the ‘miracle worker’, the ‘maverick’, the supposed outsider with this country’s best interests at heart doing the most good as an appeaser.

In the waning years of his fame, we (actually, the media and GOPe establishment) gave him his ultimate due - the Republican Run for President. Never was a more devastating mistake made; it gave us Dictator Obama.

In truth, this man is as crazy as a shit house rat. He is deranged - I believe because of cancer that has worked its way into his brain (from his earlier problems with his jaw). He not only needs to be ousted from his Senate position, he needs to be tried for treason in my opinion.

You people of Arizona had better get a clue on. Right frigging now. You need to hound this pompous, insane madman until he commits some kind of Howard Dean suicide....

If you do not, we are doomed, literally.

The same mentally ill agendas of Obozo Liar, Queeg McAinal, Kerry the Faux Vietnam hero, and congressional rats wanting to bomb Syria could apply to 9/11!

McCain is a shameless enabler of Obozo and his minions.

He deserves punishment for that collaboration. Yes, I used the word.

McCain not leaving the Senate causes me to despise his family and close friends even more than I despise him. They’re watching him implode before the whole world, but must be more interested in power and access that his still being in the US Senate brings. It’s yet another reason why I wouldn’t trust that McCain daughter if she gets a Senate seat. That family seems to be a very “me first” kind of entity. JMHO
