it takes both chambers to agree to continue funding spending at the current level.

True, and not only do we not have the Senate, we don't have 67 votes to override a Presidential veto, which we also don't have.

Lee, Cruz, Paul, Meadows, Gohmert, and others are prepared to fund all the government spending by the CR with the exception of ObummerCare.

I count 4 GOP Senators and "others." You still don't have enough votes, or the President.

The rub is that McConnell, Boehner, Cantor, et al. are too scared to fight.

McConnell is a jerk who sold out the military during the Sequester. Boehner has no leverage, even with the GOP House members, because he cannot get enough votes. Cantor is another GOP member who sold out the military so it could be raided like an ATM to pay for the Welfare state (Entitlements are exempt from the Sequester, which he not only voted for, he helped negotiate).

In this case (the CR and Debt Ceiling), it isn't that they "don't want to fight", it is the same problem. They don't have the Senate, and they don't have the White House.

We have the House. We don’t need the Senate. We don’t need a presidential signature.

To continue to fund ObummerCare, Soetoro needs both the House and the Senate to vote for it. If the House doesn’t vote for it, it will not be funded.

For a CR or to raise the Debt Ceiling for FY14?

OK then SharpRightTurn. You are officially delusional.

You have no actual clue how DC works. You "want what you want" and have believed the rhetoric of those who instill you with outrage. But you are still delusional.

You are dreaming. The beltway GOP has no intention to repeal Obamacare. If they did the leadership would be actively engaged and pounding the Dems on every bit of obamacare bad news. Why the blackout? Why do they refuse to directly engage obama on kenyancare? The kenyan told a whole pile of whoppers that are now proven false and yet we never here a word about it from leadership. Not one word!

How easily the cut and run crowd forgets that when the GOP had the Senate, House and WH they were happy to accommodate the Dems without regard to conservative principles. W Dropped SS privatization, turned Medicare part D into a monster, etc., etc.

The beltway GOP is just not interested in governing in a conservative manner. I am truly sorry you can’t see that. Bye.

I suspect that the reason that so many Republican representatives don’t offer any opposition to Obama is that they are tainted with money, knowingly taken or unknowingly given, from the likes of all of Soros’s bribe money.

Yes, it takes both chambers for both a CR or a debt ceiling increase,

I am under no delusion of what will ACTUALLY happen. It will not be what I want. I have been following District of Corruption charlatans like Boehner and McConnell for more years than I care to count.

There is big money to be made off kenyancare and the socialist state. The GOP is happy to let the Dems do the heavily lifting installing knowing that later they can reap the K Street windfall.

Totally confused by your post. The GOP House did vote 40 times to repeal ObamaCare, but the Senate ignored them 40 times. As to how bad the politicians and the AHCA are, yeah. I am with you. So? It is still impossible to “de-fund” ObamaCare without the White House and Senate agreeing to do that, and they never will.
