I'd love to read a few articles entitled: "Obama Threatens to Shut Down Government", "Democrats Threaten to Shut Down Government", "Harry Reid Threatens to Shut Down Government".
Those would be the truth in bold print. "Truth in Advertising" so to speak.
The reality is that democrat politicians are throwing temper tantrums over adding one more exemption to the huge pile of exemptions they've already issued.
They've given exemptions to their fat cats, big businesses, and corporate welfare pals. They've given exemptions to countless cronies. They've even given an exemption to themselves after this really odd whining about ObamaCare draining their brains (What?...Obama funded abortions on politicians...definite improvement...but I digress.)
And after unions complained about ObamaCare being a disaster, guess what? Obama and Reid are working a "deal" for unions.
Enter some politicians like Cruz and Paul claiming that regular people need one of those exemptions, too.
"We will fund the entire government" is what the House passed. "But we want an exemption for the regular people. A one year exemption is all that's asked; delay this monstrosity for a year."
What happens?
Obama throws a temper tantrum and threatens to shut down the government.
Who is trying to shut down the government and who is trying to fund the government? Check it out for yourself. Go read the legislation passed by the House. It absolutely DOES fund the government. All of it. The only exception is that they've added an exemption from ObamaCare for YOU.
I want them all to end up in some place very, very hot.
The “news” media are only printing (as usual) the DNC talking points. They know no other way.
They are absolutely lying this time.
With the Gingrich revolution and shutdown, one could actually argue that the conservative revolution did not offer to fund the government. Therefore, one could arguably claim they wanted to shut down the government.
In this instance, there is absolutely no doubt that the House has funded the government and does not want a shutdown.

The other thing that really amazes me is how BAD the republicans are at telling this story.
Cruz noticed that, figured they’d never get the real story out, so he did the 21 hour “explain-a-thon”. Some people heard facts about how terrible ObamaCare is going to be.
Are the republicans really that bad at getting out their message? Not really. I live across the river from Mitch McConnell’s Kentucky, and I can’t turn on the radio without hearing one of his advertisements bashing his opponents, one of whom is a tea party patriot with little money to respond.
But, they know HOW to get out a message when they want to.
Ergo....they don’t want to.

What is reid going to do now? But there are now some exposed republican Senators like Coburn and Cornyn that are going to get a real fight from the right now that they stood up for obamacare. Well, half the fault (or more) lies with the GOP for not being smart enough to avoid always being the kid with the “kick me” sign taped to his butt.
What was stopping the Republicans from branding this whole shut-down notion as the fault of the Democrats?
All that’s missing is Boehner bawling to his mama about how “it’s not fair!”
Obama has found it very easy to advance his narrow ideological agenda of failure-prone Marxism.
4 years after Obama conned his Democrats into passing the Federal takeover of the cash cow of Medical Insurance, the PC, Doormat Republicans are finally timidly suggesting defunding that Federal takeover.
Without the weak, PC, Doormat Republicans Boehner and McConnell being stupidly kept in their respective leadership positions by truly cowardly House and Senate Members, Obama Medical Insurance “Care” Takeover would have been defunded long ago.
The primal yearning of the 47 % who pay no personal Federal Income tax is to belong to a tribe where all of their choices are dictated to them by their arrogant tribal leader.
This a common trait of those who have low self-esteem.
In that sense, Obamanation is truly a cult.
Freedom is defined in the dictionary as follows:
1.) Exemption or liberation from slavery or imprisonment.
3.) Liberty of choice or action.
Most of the 47 % riding in the “free” wagon seek out slavery, and lack of personal choice.
They thus feel safe.
Liberty is defined in the dictionary as follows:
1.) The state of being exempt from the domination of others or from restricting circumstances; freedom.
5.) The power of voluntary choice: freedom from necessity.
6.) Individual Liberty: Freedom from restraint in the performance of rights outside of government control.
Most people who are getting a free ride in the wagon where 47 % pay no personal Federal Income Taxes, are terrified of making a voluntary choice.
The 47 % would prefer that they be under government control where the choices are made for him.
All of this societal wussiness has made it very easy for B. Hussein Obama, aka Barry Soetoro, to advance his narrow ideological agenda of European-style, failure-prone, Marxism in spite of PC, Doormat Republican token “opposition.”
BTW, unlike taxes, Federal Obama ‘care’ Insurance charges can be increased EVERY YEAR to whatever % the present and future arrogant leaders of Obamanation wants.
BTW, BTW, the free-loading 47 % will always vote for the Candidate for POTUS approved by Obamanation.
The question to be asked is: “If it is in the Nation’s best interest to shut down the Government, then why are there only TWO Federal Politicians, Obama and Reid, loudly advocating shutting down the US Federal Government?
Obama has MANY reasons to shutdown the Federal Government such as:
1.) A headline grabbing story that will distract attention from the Impeachable scandals of:
Benghazi Massacre Dereliction of Duty by Obama as CIC;
Obamacare Insurance managed by the corrupt IRS;
IRS harassment of political opponents of Obama;
Use of the NSA by Obama to spy on everybody in the USA;
etc, etc.
2.) The use of fear of a shutdown might help to protect defunding and eventual abolishment of Obama’s narrowly focucused ideological agenda of an European-style, failure-prone, Marxist, monopoly of the US Medical Insurance Industry.
3.) Spreading fear and blame might also preserve Obama’s power to increase Obamacare Insurance premiums on an annual basis.
*This would be highly advantageous to Obama as the increase in mandatory insurance premiums would not be a tax, as the “unexpected market conditions” would be given as the reason for the increase.
*Also there would be no need to ask for the “Advice and Consent” of Congress, as the IRS would be in complete control of all income and medical records.
4.) The last reason is the most important for Obama, personally: America would at last no longer be a Nation where the Liberty to choose ones own family destiny could ever exist again.
As for Reid, the best guess I have is that he wants a Government Monopoly of the Medical Insurance Industry. Well, to be fair, Reid calls for a “single payer” system.
My guess is that multi-millionaire Reid, nearing Federal retirement, owns a lot of stock in some companies that are tied to a “single payer” system.
Maybe the NSA, or the IRS can find out for us?

They didn’t reject the Senate bill!
Our cowardly lying Leadership wouldn’t make their RINOs vote against it. It’s sitting on the table just waiting to be passed. Unlike the bill we sent to the Senate which was rejected.
The media know this and it’s a main reason they feel safe assuming the Republicans will cave- which will ‘prove’ they were ‘wrong’.
If the bill had been rejected the media would be floundering.
That’s exactly what is happening.
I’d rather them end up against a wall before they put us up against the same wall.
Instead of delaying it for a year, grant permanent exemptions for every American citizen.

The Republicans are adamant about their opposition to Obamacare. All they did was unfund obamacare. They made provision for all the rest of funding. That tells me they are not willing to shut down the government, just Obamacare. We have to take a stand. This bill is an abomination. It will destroy this nation if not defunded.
Obama will be in Asia Bowing and scraping while the Government here shuts down.
Look in the Dictionary next to Ass and find two pictures one of a donkey the other of Obama.
