Leftist geography professor at taxpayer-funded university rails at students over shutdown

Last week, a geography professor at the public, taxpayer-funded University of Wisconsin-La Crosse used a required assignment in one of her courses to wage a campaign against Republicans, blaming them entirely for the government shutdown over federal spending.
Rachel Slocum, an assistant professor in the UWLa Crosse geography and earth sciences department, sent the vitriolic email entitled government websites on Oct. 1, reports Media Trackers Wisconsin.
Here it is, unexpurgated:
Some of the data gathering assignment will be impossible to complete until the Republican/tea party controlled House of Representatives agrees to fund the government. The Census website, for example, is closed. Please do what you can on the assignment. Those parts that youre unable to do because of the shutdown will have to wait until Congress decides we actually need a government. Please listen to the news and be prepared to turn in the assignment quickly once our nation re-opens.

I’ve been inconvenienced by lack of Gov. website access and have uttered cures at Obama each time.
Books for Professor Slocum's class: ~$100
90 million people in this country can’t find a job.
And this woman is teaching.
Yeah, no sense in having your students go to the uh, library?
