Bob Woodward said that sequestration was Obama's & Lew's idea. Why now is Obama againt it? Why was he for it before he was against it?
Why does he flip-flop on his CORE beliefs (raising the debt ceiling, the individual mandate, sequestration, etc)? Not secondary or tertiary beliefs...core beliefs.
And why is Lew fearmongering over the debt ceiling? What he has said about it recently has been debunked by Moody's.
What say you?
Because Obama was hoist with his own petard re sequestration.
Thanks Laissez-faire capitalist.
President Obama on the sequester cuts - February 19, 2013
Because he’s stupid. He is the most unqualified person to ever stumble into office. just a few years before he was president, his biggest lifetime accomplishment was registering dead people to vote in the most corrupt city in America.
For ex: want to know why candidate Obama opposed cutting capital gains taxes? Because he didn’t know what one was. He had never had a capital gain.
Obama wants to spend more. Both parties hate sequestration. Despite its miniscule amount, it is the only real spending cut in many, many years. We can’t stand to cut $100 billion a year over the next ten years in a current $3.8 trillion annual budget.
They want to end it because it is cutting into their graft.
Sequestration was a scare tactic for him, not a core belief.
Precisely! The media has never mentioned what a huge blunder [from a liberal standpoint] he made there.
It was originally an implied threat to keep John McPain and other RINOs in line. Now that it’s reality, he needs to take the cap off any and all spending so he can continue destroying us, one trillion at a time.
