The media just can't help themselves it seems. The coverage over the Million Vet March in Washington , D.C. is insulting and demeaning to our military veterans. At the march, many veterans removed the barricades blocking access to the World War II Memorial and then dumped the barricades outside the White House. Conservatives such as Sarah Palin and Ted Cruz spoke to the crowd about the current government shutdown (a false moniker as only 17% of the government is actually shut down). Yet, the mainstream media continues to carry water for Obama and do everything possible to denigrate and cast the veterans and other protestors as insane kooks.
This is clearly evident by the venom continually being spewed by the media against the Tea Party. When the subject is brought up, it's always in the most negative way. Tea Party people are never "concerned citizens" but are "fringe elements" and weirdoes. The most specious charge is that Tea Party people are racists that only became involved in politics due to a black man, Obama, being in the White House, not the fact that our liberties are being eroded and our country is speeding over a fiscal cliff. One man in the protest was carrying a Confederate flag and every news agency focused on that one individual. Did most news stories show aged WWII vets in their wheelchairs moving past the barricades? No, they did not. The image of the Confederate flag bearer was repeated endlessly. CNN anchor Don Lemon raged ad bullied a Tea Party supporter on his tv show for not agreeing with his leftist talking points.
Outlets such as CNN focused on one man who said that Obama should "give up the Quran" and advocated a nonviolent revolution and equated the entire gathering as reflecting that one person's viewpoint. This is what progressive liberals and their media allies always do. They seek the worst example that they can find at a conservative event and portray that person as being indicative of the entire crowd. The media and the left continue to push the false narrative that anybody who disagrees with Obama are racist bastards. If you're a Tea Party supporter, you're an evil racist bastard.
Other news outlets did their best to demean the veterans as they mocked the fact that there weren't a million people there. Yet they were strangely silent about the number of people who attended the Million Muslim March and other liberal gatherings. What's even sadder is the utter derangement shown by the media as their attacks get more personal. Politico wishes Ted Cruz and John Boehner would drown, the Washington Post called Cruz "Ted bin Laden", and CNN compared the GOP to terrorists. There are many more examples of such vitriol and countless more of charges of racism!
Any sane person who actually digs deeper into the news has realized that journalism died some time ago. What we have now is pure propaganda on behalf of Obama and his progressive liberal agenda. Just a few years ago, dissent was patriotic and we were told it was free speech for leftists to hold signs that said, "KILL BUSH!" Now dissent is racist and "Impeach Obama" signs are equated to homicidal thoughts. The Orwellian doublespeak is alive and well.
This President has shown that he will use his power to keep citizens he doesn’t like behind barricades.
Don’t give him more power.
Media sucks.
You’ll find them making good use of coverage of military issues, however, when it suits them. Can’t stand snews media, they grate on my nerves.
As an addendum to my prior post, snews has demonstrated a lot of treasonous activity as well, IMHO, over the years.

These people will never be civil or peaceful towards us, or anyone that doesn’t sing the party song.

So ironic ... those white boys carrying water for the semi-black president (you’ve got to envision the scene in one of the Tarzan movies with the water carriers marching in single file through the jungle carrying water jugs). But it isn’t that hard if you don’t have honesty, integrity or honor.
