A man has said he is still haunted after being abducted and probed by aliens 40 years ago.
Calvin Parker Jr said he encountered the UFO when he was 18 years old while fishing with his friend Chase Brandon.
And he has spent the past four decades shunning the press attention that the incident attracted.
He has moved jobs and home several times over decades to avoid being detected.
When questioned he said: "This is something I really didn't want to happen.”
Parker and Brandon, then 42, were on the banks of the Pascagoula river in Mississippi in October 1973.
The pair were approached by a UFO with blue lights that made a zipping noise.
They were levitated and taken aboard the craft. Parker said they were then examined by what appeared to be a large floating eye.
He said: "They gave a thorough, I mean a thorough, examination to me just like any doctor would."
They were then left behind on the banks of the river.
It became one of the most high profile cases of a UFO experience in American history after Roswell.
UFO enthusiasts believe the government got hold of alien bodies in Roswell, New Mexico, in the 1940s and examined them.
The American government has spent decades denying it.

I remember it being big local news when I was young. Every time the family would drive to Florida on vacation, we would look out the windows for flying saucers when crossing the Pascagoula River.

Seriously? The astronauts and cosmonauts, thousands of pilots, ship’s captains and crews, military servicemembers of many nations, air police, fishermen, law enforcement and so many others? They all suffer from mental illness? Think about it.
I remember one night I was fishing and my dog was lying on the bank next to me, all of a sudden he was gone, then he returned, I asked where have you been, he said I was abducted by aliens...he never spoke again after that.
Don't they have their own butts, johnsons, and cooters on Gamma Nubula Seven? Preference and orientation concerns aside.

For the same reason that so many people think their television is watching them and satellites are beaming thoughts into their heads.
Then why no better stories? There are trail cameras and dashcams, and thousands of cameras running 24/7 in every little hamlet on this globe. Even walks in the woods catches everything on trail cameras. Last told there were over 36,000,000 trail cameras purchased in this country. They are out there snapping away morning / noon/ and night and no Bigfoots, aliens, DB Cooper, or Jimmy Hoffa SR.

Another common smear is that UFO abductees are always ignorant inbred hicks (which isn’t true, obviously); Aristotle claimed the same kind of thing about eyewitnesses of meteorite arrivals, because, y’know, stones can’t fall from the sky, he sez so.
Note that this topic is about Bigfoot, DB Cooper, or Jimmy Hoffa; regardless, the existence of photos and videos of UFOs is irrelevant — those have been, still are, and always will be rejected out of hand and ridiculed, by exactly the same people.

Getting ET strange is going to be a big motivator for interstellar travel volunteers when it becomes possible.

You assume they travel in linear fashion like we do. They may know how to travel from one point to another non-linear. I think we are not early as intelligent as we think we are.

One of our party was about 6'3" and weighed about 275lbs of solid muscle. He couldn't throw the same boulder more than ten feet with a running start in the clear.

You hung around the entire season (and part of the next) with this creature nearby throwing boulders like baseballs? What sort of weaponry did you have to defend yourself in case IT decided to enter your cabin and tear everyone to pieces?

With Obamacare, we’ll all be praying to be abducted by aliens and getting an anal probe exam. It may be the only medical attention we can afford.

Looks like you may have wandered into something’s territory, eh? :’) The sightings in Michigan have been pretty short and dull, whereas we our share of bear sightings that get the blood pounding.
If that was used on a homosexual during an alien abduction would the guy enjoy the experience?
