any suggestions?

my idea was to use Dem quotes, who made the quote, where and the date on page one and fun debt facts on the reverse side.

put your suggestions and fun facts below...no internet links please-this is for print only . I plan to leave them at places where people sit alone and think- bathrooms, bus stops, etc.

page one ideas:

“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. government can’t pay its own bills. ... I therefore intend to oppose the effort to increase America’s debt limit.” — 3/16/2006 Floor speech in the Senate

We can’t afford another four years of the kind of deficits we’ve been seeing over the last eight. Young people, you are going to have to pay for this debt we’re piling up. We can’t afford to mortgage our children’s future on another mountain of debt. — 10/2/08 East Lansing, Michigan

Images of the recent raid on Walmart during the EBT outage, then something about the “price of free corn”. The current economy is unsustainable and everyone will eventually suffer because of it.

If you plan to distribute it at bus-stops be sure and have it printed in Spanish.

Actually that idea could also be worked into a visual. Two kids walking into this big room expecting candy instead see a table with papaer stacked with shieves of paper reaching the ceiling and are greeted by a booming voice comming out of the lauspeakers demanding thousands of dollars as they run out crying...for other ideas check out my page on campaigning http://www.theusmat.com/home.htm. I haven’t updated it since 06 but will be doing so fo the 14 election.
