Currently the count is 45.
He’s only keeping the ones that said they would order to shoot civilians.
there’s value in having a similar list for previous administrations to compare
Alarming. Have you sent this to anyone at Fox News? Somebody needs to be looking into this.
Yes the new litmus test for military officers is “would you shoot your own kind?” Gives you a good idea of what is coming.
Yep. Building his own Nazi army.
So are you saying none of them deserved it?
Good job, Nachum..
Something is afoot.
You don’t declare fealty to Obama and Jarrett, you get the boot.
There is precedent for the purge of the senior officers in the military, and a cautionary tale attached.
The Tonton Macoutes were a Haitian paramilitary force created in 1959 and reporting directly to François ‘Papa Doc’ Duvalier until his death in 1971. ‘Papa Doc’ came to power in 1957, as a democratically elected leader on a populist platform. He had previously served as Minister of Health. After an attempted coup against him in 1958, Duvalier rewrote the Haitian constitution, making himself a ‘President for Life’. Believing the Army was planning to overthrow him (as they had previous leaders), he disbanded all law enforcement agencies in Haiti, including the army. He executed all high-ranking Generals. To keep law enforcement completely loyal to his own ruling family, he created the Tonton Macoutes, who were granted automatic amnesty through his powers for any crime they committed.
The future is rooted in the past. The Current Occupant now squatting in the White Hut (or “Spite Hut”) is just taking a few precautionary moves.
How does this compare to previous presidents?
Who has the CWII ping list?
“So are you saying none of them deserved it?”
So are you saying they all did?
Isn't he the guy who allowed contractors to overcharge the Navy in exchange for hookers and Lady GaGa tickets?
Getting to be like the purge of non-muslims in Turkey.
It’d be interesting to know how this list stacks up against the records of other peacetime CinCs.
Any Muslims with access to nuclear weaponry?
This administration lies so much and so often I do not know what to believe. There is little left but suspect them of anything and everything.
You must look at what they do both on an individual and on a group level. Combine these firings with the knowledge that the Army says that only 2 brigades are prepared for war, our Air Force readiness is at a historic low, the missions of our special operations forces have tripled along with an astronomical increase in casualties.
I could go on, but this list is only one part of a larger story.
That is what the 'investigators' are saying. Is it possible that the administration sent out a team of investigators to 'get' any military brass on 'anything'? Is it possible they trumped up charges to not only get rid of 'a few bad apples' but to cow the rest of the officer corp. (corpse?) into submission so they can violate the Posse Comitatus Act with impunity?
Did you read that in the MSM?
I don’t believe much of what I read these days.
does this include a couple in Benghazi ? (sarc. sort of).
Not all, but let's look at the list.
Petraeus - got caught cheating on his wife through an FBI investigation. It's also suspected he sat on the Medal of Honor for Captain Swenson
Vice Admiral Giardina - was the subject of a civil police fraud investigation involving the use of counterfit chips at an Iowa casino.
Cmdr. Michael Vannak Khem Misiewicz - allowed the Navy to be overcharged for port services in exchange for hookers and Lady GaGa tickets.
Cmdr. Martin Arriola - ran his ship into a tanker.
Capt. Antonio Cardoso - ignored regulations against abusing and hazing recruits.
Cmdr. Joseph E. Darlak - failed to maintain discipline among his crew, a number of which got drunk and tore up Vladivostok.
Cmdr. Franklin Fernandez - drunk driving arrest(s).
Cmdr. Ray Hartman - sleeping with a subordinate.
Cmdr. Jon Haydel - ditto.
Cmdr. Diego Hernandez - come on!. The man was convicted at mast for mishandling classified materials. On a nuclear missile submarine.
And on and on and on. I'm not saying there isn't a single suspicious relief, especially among the generals and admirals. But most of them were booted for screwing around or running their ship into another ship or criminal activity or general incompetence. Of the 45 on the list I'd say there are maybe half a dozen head-scratchers. The rest would have been relieved under the Bush administration.
Except for this?
Stalin did it with guns, Obama is doing it with Scandals and made up lies. Where are these Generals speaking out about why they have been targeted?
Seems like your list contains USN except for Petraeus. Do you have similar lists on Army/Air Force?
Or, lists from past presidents for comparison?
Thanks for your post.
Bloodless coup of patriotic military professionals I reckon.
“does this include a couple in Benghazi’
I have a different file for Benghazi...
No. I used the link that Nachum provided and that happened to be all Navy for those officers below general and admiral. Someone pointed to militarycorruption.com. I can't speak to the bias of that site but it doesn't seem to be very pro-Obama. There's information there on other branches.
Unfortunately the article does not give us names.
CW2 List: Jack Black updates the CW2 list and we both use it, as well as Archy who occasionally drops in.
Half of those items are bogus or not to the level of destroying a career.

His body was found a few hours later with more than thirty stab wounds to the neck, chest, and stomach. After "careful examination" of the evidence (cough, cough), his death was ruled a suicide.
I work with a retired first sergeant who was training this Guard unit at the time. He said that this officer was strict, but fair, and that most of his men had nothing but good things to say about him.
The director of NSA and his two deputy directors are leaving their positions between January and June. What private company would see their three most top guys leaving within months?
Indeed. But how many low information sheeple, who catch a glimpse of this during a fifteen-second blurb on the evening news, in between stuffing their faces and checking their texts, would know this?
Having worked on a Division level staff as an officer, I'd have to say "no" none of them probably deserved it. When you're talking about such senior level officers these kinds of POGROMS are almost always political. The character defects that leads to a real issue like gambling or adultry or money problems or abuses of power usually show up in the mid level or lower level officer corps pretty early on. A buddy of mine who retired as an 05 (Lieutenant Colonel) of Special Forces called it "The Night of the Long Knives." You can bet these are the guys who would break the chain of command or disobey a direct order to shoot civilians. That's got to be the level we're speaking of here. It's follow the Man Who Would Be King or follow the Constitution because they're obviously not the same thing, now.

. . . . Check out article.

This list means nothing until compared to a similar list under other Presidents. For all we know this is completely normal turnaround.
Thanks LucyT. Many onboard.
LOL ... guess my timing wasn’t so good.
LOL ... accepting.
