Speaking at a Democratic fundraiser, held at a private residence in Dallas, Texas, President Obama stated, “we are remaking the courts.”

The President’s statement is especially important, due to the fact that critics of the President have long accused him of attempting to change the American court system, in order to ensure his leftist agenda is deemed to be constitutional. The President, however, has denied doing this, until now...

Excerpting their own blog is not illegal nor against the rules therefore it would be better to add a “Please would you consider NOT excerpting your own blog” in your request.

Nothing new here. Been trying to stress that the communists with King Obama and the communists Democratic Party has been working over the system until we have a mini dictatorship now. By the end of King Obama’s term we will have involved into a total dictatorship and hundred of thousands of Americans will face a fate worse than death.

the first step to transforming something is to destroy it. They’re doing that pretty well. But they have proven themselves incapable of creating anything, including a functioning web page.

How long before they take advantage of the fact there is no citizenship requirement for Supreme Court Justices?

By my count, and I urge verification, we’ve had six already. Majority from British Isles including three from Jay’s courts which could be understandable if your understanding is there was a dearth of talent in the early days.

Or it could have been by design. After all James Wilson, a Scottish native, was one of the three members of the Committee of Design left with the task of putting all the genius of the Constitutional Convention down on paper.

Maybe Arlen Spectre’s reliance on Scottish law was cutting edge conditioning.

It is law schools that are remaking the courts, and it is there that we need to start.

Good luck with that. Rhodes/Oxford scholars have populated the SC for quite awhile now.

“.......Why else would one cite it? If they cannot find a basis for their decisions in American law and legal tradition, they look to the laws and norms of foreign countries to justify their decisions.””

What’s most outrageous IMO is the Leftist tendency to skip the “.......If they cannot find a basis for their decisions in American law and legal tradition,....”, and go directly to “....they look to the laws and norms of foreign countries to justify their decisions.”

It’s been a controversy for several administrations at this point.
