You have to see the link. I don't know what to say. Watch the film. It's a childhood acquaintance talking about Barry and how he was as a lad.
Um, wow. I listened to the whole thing while I puttered in my kitchen, and I must say it was an earful!!! This woman’s voice has the ring of truth when she’s recalling their student days together. However, I have questions and observations:
1) Has anyone vetted Mia herself? Is she known to be a sober, truthful, ordinary person, or has she been a fan of conspiracy theories and UFO abductions all her life? Anyone know? Also, could she be “on the take” from someone?
2) Her questions about how Barry got into Pounahou (spelling?) seem . . . well, not unfounded, but probably easily explained. I think Barry’s grandma was some kind of executive, wasn’t she? (Even if they did live in modest digs.) I can easily see her pulling every string she could find and calling in all her favors to get her grandson into a good school. (Which is what any *good* grandparent would do.)
3) I think she’s wandering far afield from what she *knows* when she starts talking about Barry at Columbia, etc. She was not there and only knows what she has read or been told.
4) The photo of Barry in S&M drag ... holy guacamole, that’s quite a photo!!!! However, has the original been located? Has it been vetted? Has it been examined for signs of photoshopping, etc.?
So fwiw, when this woman is talking about their high school days together, and how little Barry Soetero was known as a small-time con (always bumming stuff and then spurning the giver), a gay boy who hung with older white males (probably in search of whatever they could give him), and a known taker of drugs, her voice really had the ring of truth. I bet she could pass a lie detector talking about that stuff. The rest of it seemed not backed up. And I’d like to see her looked at with a critical eye to see whether she is known as someone who tells the truth as well.
Oh, and the last thing ... why did she wait until now to speak? That smacks of political or monetary gain on her part. What’s up with that?
Maybe she’s jealous of his success and wonders what her life could have been...

Good find. Looks to me like the Photobucket one is the original. The model’s expression and the play of light on his face is completely consistent with the rest of the photo. The Obama one doesn’t really look right. (This is not to say that Obama has never dressed in drag. But I think that particular photo, in the snakeskin ... uh, onesie, or whatever that is! ... has had his face Photoshopped in.
Looks like an easy choice to me. You found the original.
E.g., she says he went by Soetoro in high school. That alone disqualifies her from serious attention.
