Proposed California law requires protective eye wear in porn

Only in California: An amendment to a recently passed law in California requires porn stars to wear protective goggles. This is what happens when the idiot party completely controls the state government. And we thought Bloomberg was bad. The link is below, and make sure you read all the comments. They are hysterical.

What is porn nowadays? I have seen scenes in mainstream motion pictures that would probably rival the raunchiest porn movie a decade ago.

I’m not sure what the economics of porn are these days.

So many everyday idiots are willing to share their fun for free on sites like YouPorn.

A few months ago there was a story about them requiring condoms in porn and I said something to the effect of “get OSHA involved and make them wear hard hats and safety glasses” and everyone laughed. (Well I got a few positive comments anyway. This is the way things work. All the stuff that used to be a joke or used to be a conspiracy theory is just the new reality.

I personally know the outfit which runs YP, KM and especially Naughty America. One of my closest buds works for same co which originally came with up with those XXX parodies such as “This Ain’t Superman” and “This Aint Star Wars” before everyone copied them. Unlike Freepers who get upset about porn, I don’t. There is an economic way to make money off those sites and a certain formula formula from the ads.

I know in the early days of the internet it was a business premise that the only entities making money were porn.

Obviously that’s changed some in 15 yrs but still interesting.

And those vids from YP are actually ripped off scenes or leaked scenes from actual PPV/pay sites. Porn is just an outlet. Better to do “your thing” in front of a pc rather than actually raping someone.

Ha ha hahahahaha! I like this exchange:

RD Walker

• Serious question: Why are they still making porn? Isn't there already like a trillion hours of this stuff available for free on the Internet? If no more porn were ever made, wouldn't the current supply last until the sun goes red giant? Seriously, what is left to be filmed that hasn't been filmed 10,000 times? I should think the world is fully stocked and supplied to the end of days.

Tom >RD Walker

• Have some compassion on those of us who have seen it all.

However, other porn stars, such as James Deen, say that the law will push porn filming out of California. “People will most likely move production out of Los Angeles,” Deen said.

Florida's porn business, especially South Florida, has been growing immensely. Porn produced down there has been penetrating the market for years. If California's support for the adult film industry goes flaccid, Florida's industry is up and coming, I am sure they can pick up the ball.
