These are not good days for the Left. Their “oh so dearly” held plans to disarm America because a vicious lunatic murdered 26 people in Newtown have fallen apart and actually led to an increase in gun purchases across the country.
Their hopes have been dashed once again with the revelation that Karl Halverson Pierson the coward who shot up Arapahoe High School in Colorado has been described by a fellow student as “an opinionated socialist.” Ouch that’s got to hurt. Arapahoe is just down the road from Columbine High...

Best idea I've heard all week. Democrats and liberals are obviously afraid of firearms - right up to the point where they themselves snap, pick them up, and act out in a rage. If they were really interested in public safety then anyone who self-identifies as a liberal/democrat would be barred from access to weapons sharper than a Twinkie.
You would never know that the shooter wasn’t a Second Amendment, Bible thumping TEA bagger from reading the articles in the LA Times and USA today. The innuendo is that he was an unbalanced right winger.

maybe i’m being picky but first off he didn’t “shoot up the school”. he shot some folks who got in the way as he hunted a specific target. the columbine evil bastards, the newtown evil bastard did shoot up the school.
and in know in rural parts “right down the road” can mean 20 miles but i live in the burbs just west of littleton and near columbine and to me right down the road means walking or biking distance. but perhaps i am more sensitive to word phrassing. it does sound like the first responders learned a lot from how columbine was handled.
