Poll finds 10 percent regret Obama vote [16% say he'll be remembered as "great")

After his 2008 election, 43 percent expected him to be a “great” president. Now, only 16 percent think so — Obama's lowest rating ever and a drop of 13 points since his reelection.

One in 10 people who voted for President Obama in 2012 now regret it, according to a new poll.

A little more than a year after Obama's reelection victory, 10 percent regret their vote for the president, while another 89 percent do not, a Fox News pollreleased Wednesday found.

Only 6 percent of people who voted for his opponent, Mitt Romney, said they now regret it.

Obama’s approval rating has changed little in the last month after taking a dive during this fall. Forty-one percent of people said they approve of him, a single point higher than last month. Another 53 percent of people disapprove of him, down two points since last month.

The majority disapproves of Obama’s handling of most policy issues — including the economy, foreign policy, job creation, healthcare and the federal deficit. He rates highest on the economy with 41 percent approval.

Five years into his presidency, a plurality of people — 33 percent — predict Obama will be remembered as an average president. Another 28 percent said he will be seen as one of the worst.

After his 2008 election, 43 percent expected him to be a “great” president. Now, only 16 percent think so — Obama's lowest rating ever and a drop of 13 points since his reelection.

A Washington Post-ABC poll earlier this week found approval of Obama’s signature healthcare law has stabled since the botched rollout of HealthCare.gov in October. But 67 percent of people in the Fox News poll still said the law should be delayed for a year, an increase from last month.

The Post-ABC poll found that number had dropped dramatically since last month.

Fifty-four percent think the law will ultimately stay in place, but 40 percent still believe it will be delayed or defunded.

On Iran, 68 percent of people said Obama has not been tough enough, while 84 percent said the United States cannot trust the country on the issue of nuclear weapons. However, a majority —54 percent — still said they do not know enough about the initial deal hashed out last month between the two countries to have an opinion.

The poll surveyed 1,027 people and had a 3 percent margin of error.

The Communist still, no doubt, love him.
Given his way, America, as we grew up in, would not exist.
It will take an act of God to undo the carnage he and his filthy pals have created.

Things look very grim. Opinion will change once employees get dumped from their corporate plans. But how much?

Sheeple nation is still asleep.

“......

Moving on…

23. Thinking about the 2010 health care law, are you glad the health care law passed or do you wish it hadn’t passed and we still had the system that was in place in 2009?

14-16 Dec 13

Glad it passed 38%

Wish it had never passed 54%

(Don’t know) 8%

24. If you were given the opportunity to vote only on whether to keep the 2010 health care law in place or repeal it, how would you vote? [IF DON’T KNOW, ASK] Well, which way would you lean?

Keep the law in place 41%

Repeal the law 53%

(Don’t know) 6%

.....”

People don’t like to admit they were wrong and may have had a part in destroying America.

According to the poll, 41% would like to keep ObamaCare, but if I remember correctly, a vast majority of people have been adversely effected (or WILL be adversely effected) by the law.

If that true, it seems that there are people who have been adversely effected by the law, but still choose to support it!

Go figure!

See Post #7 and be sure to look at the entire poll. Lots of gems in it.

I’d like Clown Prince nobama to be remembered as the first president imprisoned.

That 10% difference would’ve put Romney in and kicked Obama to the curb.

Oh well, that was then, this is now.

... but America can make up for it next year by giving Republicans both House & Senate - then there would be some real fun.

I’d expect a low response to such a poll question.

It’s comparable to asking “Are you a freakin’ idiot?” to which 10% would probably say “Yes”.

10% would have given McCain or Romney historic landslide victories.

From what I understand, there is about 80% of the electorate (split almost evenly between Rat and GOP) that you’re not going to budge. It’s the other 20% that are always up for grabs.

Don't get me wrong. I would be glad for an additional 10% in the next election but you have to wonder how so many can be so oblivious to what has been going on around them, or at least, whom to hold responsible. Very disheartening.

Truth be told, there are probably 15-20% more who regret their Obama vote but refuse to ‘fess up. Liberals seldom will admit to being wrong.

Obama will be remembered as “great” only in the sense that he was a great danger to freedom and to western culture. I hope and pray that Obama will be forgotten within a generation, earning a footnote for being the first in his category of diversity but otherwise inflicting no sustained damage on our country.
