Michael Eric Dyson .....
Meet Greg Braxton, a black reporter with the LA Times who has met the Robertsons and describes them thusly ...
The bottom line: Of all the celebrities I have talked to in the past year, the Robertsons rank at the top in terms of politeness, personality and warmth. They were gracious and cooperative during the photo session, and were responsive to my inquiries.

This social divide that the left is so fearful of is one of their own creation. The left constantly attacks and undermines traditional values. There is bound to be a reaction to such aggression from the left. I would agree to a cease fire in the social wars to concentrate on pressing economic issues, but the left will not allow it. Therefore, it’s a fight to the end. We are currently losing that fight on a large scale, but I will not concede an inch when it comes to my family or myself. I will not surrender. I would rather go Galt.

That seems like a long way to travel when we have such glorious utopias you speak of in Detroit, Chicongo etc. True enough.
But the idea of having them on the other side of an ocean appeals to me.

And just who is responsible for making it “us vs. them”?? Not any white people I know. Have you noticed how many black “professors” there are who talk about nothing about how bad Whitey is?

MSNBC appeals to the lefty leftists of the left. That's it. Hence, it's dismal ratings. There isn't enough of that kind of thinking in this country to fill a bus. The only way most folks get exposure to the ridiculousness of that network is when blogs and other media tell others what was said on that network

The farther away the US gets from slavery, Jim Crow, segregation, etc.; the more tenaciously the Left clings to, and invokes, that part of our history. Fascinating, isn't it. But it's worked for them politically from the Sixties right up to the present. No matter how much progress is made they will never, never, never be satisfied. Their Marxist Democrat mentors are more than willing to feed the hate.

These idiots would be hurting their cause...if their cause wasn’t race baiting.

The freaks are crawling out of the wood work everywhere! Ill bet this boy had a tough, tough life. I wonder how he found the time to become a professor while picking all of that cotton and being discriminated against.
On the other hand, Phil Robertson really did work side-by-side with blacks in the fields when he was growing up.
Plus Phil has a black grandson. Willie and Korie Robertson adopted a black child.
Of course none of that matters to MSNBC. The MSNBCers don't let the truth get in the way of their opinions.
