Today started like any other day for me: take the “terrorist princess” outside, get a cup of coffee, and sit down to peruse the news while checking email. After seeing a news post about the Obama administration using two executive orders that will determine who in this country will or will not be allowed to purchase guns, I became infuriated and decided to turn to my email. Yesterday, I had received a tag about an interesting event scheduled for May 16, 2014; however, I had a hard time trying to fathom it so I began my research. Little did I know that this event is now spreading like wildfire – being talked about all over less known alternative media sites and some social network sites.
It is known as “Operation American Spring.” Released on December 20, 2013, at Patriots of America, this movement is being covered on the Daily Paul, the Conservative Monster, American Prepper Nation, American Liberty Riders, the Nutrifarm and the Birther Report to name a few. Here is the concept to “Operation American Spring” being put forth by Harry Riley:
Phase 1 – Field millions, as many as ten million, patriots who will assemble in a non-violent, physically unarmed (Spiritually/Constitutionally armed), display of unswerving loyalty to the US Constitution and against the incumbent government leadership, in Washington, D.C., with the mission to bring down the existing leadership. Go full-bore, no looking back, steadfast in the mission.
Phase 2 – One million or more of the assembled 10 million must be prepared to stay in D.C. as long as it takes to see Obama, Biden, Reid, McConnell, Boehner, Pelosi, and Attorney General Holder removed from office.

A march of 10,000,000 angry Americans, coupled with widespread acts of civil disobedience, should have occurred when Obamacare was up for the vote in Congress.
That was what - three years ago? Time has slipped by, and we’ve done nothing to match the regime’s escalation of this war for America.
While the Democrats and Republicans have been conspiring behind closed doors to put the last nail in the coffin of our Constitution, we’ve been morosely bickering on the internet, and complaining about every ratchet forward, toward a totalitarian dictatorship.

We’re boxing ourselves in, people. If we don’t figure out a way to step in up, and soon, we’re going to be left with only a couple of options - neither of them comfortable or painless.
This is the problem with conservatives... WORK.
Who the hell has the time to do this? Who has the money?

Just asking a rational question here:
If the millions convening in Washington are committed to a “display of unswerving loyalty to the US Constitution,” how can they possibly think they can “see Obama, Biden, Reid, McConnell, Boehner, Pelosi, and Attorney General Holder removed from office” within the scope of said revered Constitution?
The right to freely assemble and to speak one’s mind is surely guaranteed, but there is no provision for mob rebellion nor for recall outside the impeachment or electoral process.
I’m all for a hissy fit — feel like pitching one myself. However, the stated goals of this assembly should be lawfully and realistically attainable or this is going to look like a better-mannered clone of the Occupy nutworks.

According to a friend who was arrested, cited, and fined for believing that; No. The State, or the local government has the right to regulate how and when you can 'peaceably assemble'.
Not even a soapbox. No permit (the government's blessing upon your actions), No "rights". The government will take the revenue from you for not purchasing a 'permit' to do so by legal fiat or force, at its discretion.

I missed this when it was originally posted. Are people getting onboard with Operation American Spring?
Haven't seen too much excitement about this yet, both here and other media. Maybe too early? I expect they'll be a lot of talk about it in April.
