Karl Rove: Chris Christie's Bridge Scandal Response Gives 'Street Cred' with Tea Party
Breibart - Big Government ^ | 1-12-2014 | Matthew Boyle

GOP establishment figure Karl Rove said on Fox News Sunday that the Fort Lee and George Washington Bridge scandal that New Jersey GOP Gov. Chris Christie is facing will end up giving him “street cred” with the Tea Party movement.

“There will be reasons why conservatives have disagreements with Chris Christie,” Rove said during a panel discussion with Bob Woodward and Juan Williams about the scandal.

I don't think the Tea Party is going to seize upon Fort Lee and the George Washington Bridge as their defining difference with Christie. In fact, I think he's handling to this [sic] – being straightforward, taking action, saying "I'm responsible firing people" – probably gives him some street cred with Tea Party Republicans who say, "That's what we want in a leader, somebody who steps up and takes responsibility."

Rove, a strident Tea Party opponent, has seized upon a narrative laid down by conservative Tea Party movement leaders with regard to this scandal: when compared with how President Barack Obama has not held anyone accountable for scandals that have plagued his administration, Christie’s firing of his deputy chief of staff and dismissal of his ex-campaign manager seems refreshing.

From the responses I see, Rove knew exactly what he was doing -

To stir up even more trouble, and made sure Christie would never be the front runner nor the nomination.

Hence my previous comment: “Everybody knows you’re helping your boy Jeb.”

Tokyo must have snorted a little more crack than usual before than comment. How are you going to get street cred with the Tea party if you are open borders, gun grabbing and muzzie loving? He’s Juan McStain with an eatig disorder.

Why did I ever think this guy was a political genius?

Maybe his polling is showing him the tea partiers are getting stronger.

So Rove must be admitting that the Tea Party has some power.

Does anyone know how long Rove’s contract is with Fox?

It it would be nice to know how much longer we have to listen to his pablum.

Karl Rove sounded so hopeful when he expressed that wishful thinking. The T.E.A. people are not so easily fooled, Chris Christie STILL has not changed one iota, a tough-talking crypto-Socialist supporter of all that the Current Occupant now squatting in the White Hut holds dear and sacred.

I am all for an early crash-and-burn for Christie, and the best part, it was thrown at him by the Democrat liberal sycophant press. They just turned on him BEFORE he actually won the Republican nomination.

There is still a chance this may be pulled out by 2016. Herself, Madame Benghazi, the Cold & Joyless, does not have this in the bag just yet.

I don’t know what kind of sweetheart contract Rove has with FoxNews. But it was rather strange that after he made an abject fool of himself on election night, and then was barred (without higher-level approval) from appearing on programming for a couple of weeks afterwards, he then came back immediately with almost-DAILY appearances.

It was all rather queer. The whole curious intertwining of the GOP-E elites and FoxNews. I’ve wondered if money was somehow involved, in the reason Rove has such a seeming stranglehold on things there.

Karl Rove: Chris Christie's Bridge Scandal Response Gives 'Street Cred' with Tea Party

Karl Rove is sounding more and more like Nancy Pelosi every day.

Rove's head is so far up his own butt it has caused him to flip inside-out, forcing his brain ass-forward and producing an even more arrogantly confused state of delusion due to sniffing his own sh!t.

WHEN can we FINALLY flush this turd?
