The year end’s most popular “Florida Man” tweets feature the very strange story of a 76 year-old South Florida resident who was arrested at the hospital bedside of his elderly wife who was being treated for a broken right hip which he had caused. (1) A nurse called police after she overheard the couple talking about the fight they had when the wife walked in on her husband surfing dating sites on the Web. The wife apparently struck the first blow by slapping him, but police arrested the husband for shoving her to the floor, thereby causing the woman serious injury. “After 33 years of marriage, I cannot believe it,” the wife said.

I didn’t either, then I got older. This may sound funny, but “women” under 30 look like kids to me. No wrinkles. They are too smoothe. No character. I like character. It’s not just physical to me. Or, to be more precise, the emotional bond with my wife makes the physical hotter than it ever was in some very real ways. And we both turn sixty in a couple of weeks.

There is no type of sexual activity which may be considered acceptable and appropriate at age 35, which is not also acceptable and appropriate at age 75.

I don't know how old you are, but perhaps you will one day find yourself old and alone, and in need of some intimate human contact.

And perhaps, if you are lucky, God will grace you with it. Not that you will deserve it.

The temptation is to tease you a little but it seems a reasonable question. What you learn in age is that you aren't having sex with a body, you're having sex with a person. It takes some of us a long time to learn that lesson. Some never do.

Sounds like you are "visual" rather than "tactile" or "experiential." It's self-limiting to think that there can only be a turn-on if your partner is young and perfect. You will get older. Your body will become different. But you may still want a little. So try to open yourself to a loving experience rather than just a carnal experience.

when I was 18 I didn’t find 40 something attractive, which is probably a good thing. Now I’m 44, the wife is 46 and I find that to be quite attractive, which is DEFINITELY a good thing.
