Skip to comments. Why did a CNN anchor just call Iran nuclear deal a “train wreck”?

In an interview with CNNs Fareed Zakaria, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani forcefully asserted that Iran would not destroy its nuclear centrifuges under any circumstances, reports the Washington Beacon. Rouhanis comments come just days after the U.S. and Iran began to implement a deal which the White House claims will scale back Irans nuclear program. The Obama administration claims the goal of the deal is to prevent a nuclear Iran, yet Rouhanis comments show Iran views the deal much differently.
Reacting to Rouhanis position, Zakaria told CNN that the Iranian Presidents comments struck him as a train wreck, the Beacon reported.
This strikes me as a train wreck. This strikes me as a huge obstacle because the Iranian conception of what the deal is going to look like and the American conception now look like they are miles apart, Zakaria said.

Idiot Kerry and the USA keep reporting this as a dismantling of the nuclear weapon capability, Iran keeps insisting it is not... who to believe? The liars? Or the other Liars?
Even on CNN, every once and a while the truth slips out.
Honestly, can you imagine John Eff’n Kerry coming up with anything that could benefit the United States?
Obama continues to hide the text of the “ agreement .” ( even though treaties have to be ratified by the senate to go Into effect ). What does this say about who may be more truthful concerning it ?
Because a blind hog finds an acorn every once in a while!!
Too "post-American" for you, Fareed?
EVERYTHING Obama touches has become a mess. It is going to take decades to under the damage he has inflicted on this country.
Obama continues to hide the text of the agreement .
One of the few things Obama is good at: hiding and concealing information from legitimate inquiry.
Which liar of the two issued that report?
Isn’t that the one Iran is denying?
Iran is clearly not going to dismantle anything so either the deal is already broken and moot or Iran was given a golden ticket to keep doing their thing with no more sanctions and no meddling and all they needed to do was keep quiet and they just couldn't do it. My guess, based on Obama's prior behavior in dealing with all things middle eastern is that he did indeed give them a pass and a promise to divert attention away from them and they are blowing it for him.
Perhaps his birth certificate is in it.
The Muslims are not under any obligation to bargain in good faith with us Infidels.
This is nothing more than a HUDNA, which is basically a delaying tactic to help the Muslims strengthen their position.
. When they are ready they will break any agreement, after all that is what Muhammed did, and he sets the example for Muslims. - Tom
Neither. It seems to be an IAEA report of the proposed 'deal'.
Remember, there are at least two 'public deals', contested by both sides, and probably a minimum of two 'secret deals'.
that’s my point... Kerry keeps saying this deal mena they are going to dismantle everything, Iran keeps saying this deal mean they don’t have to dismantle anything...This is a cluster-f@#$ of epic proportions
