One my cats does this. She'll fall asleep in my sock drawer and then her head pops up like a periscope!
I keep hearing that so-and-so is a Dog person or a Cat person.... I have dogs and a cat.....or should I say that I have dogs and a cat has me...?
In any case....I LOVE my animals...and I know that they love me.
God Blessed us with these little bundles of joy for a purpose.

We had a friend over once who was not familiar with a cat that has been brought up with a lot of human interaction.
She was saying goodbye and talking a bit over a recliner chair with our cat laying across the top. He was listening to her and looking up.
She had no idea a cat could understand words, a lot of them, as ours did from being talked to all the time.
She suddenly screamed and my mom and I ran over, ‘what’s wrong?!’ She said ‘that cat, it looked like it KNEW what I was saying!’

He sure did.
But I could never convince my mother of that. Even though I pleaded. I truly wanted a pet.
But I got even when I had my own home and got a cat. I named her after my mother who never knew it because my mother’s name was Kitty.
