Posted on 01/30/2014 10:30:19 PM PST by logi_cal869
(snip) The story unfolds: Traveling by commercial airlines from Albuquerque, NM to LasVegas,NV, (Police Chief) Harger was asked by TSA to show his credentials. Minutes later a man flashed a badge claiming to be a federal agent (agency unknown) also demanding to see Hargers credentials.
The following morning, Harger was informed by Sheriff Douglas C. Wood of Sandoval County, New Mexico, that Harger was to dismantle the Jamez Springs Police Department. (be sure to click through and read the whole thing)

DRUDGE will be interested if this is verifiable.

Nutjob Conspiracy Worthy?
(The /why/ he was detained.)
I was interested in finding out where a NM Sheriff derives the authority to order a city police department to disband and order a city to fire it’s police chief.
It appears from the Jemez Springs Police Department web page (http://www.jemezsprings.org/police.html), that they are a sheriff’s substation. Which would lead me to believe that it is within the sheriff’s authority.
Still scratching my head about this though. Seems like wrongful termination to me.
Maybe. I kept digging & found this from today
Harger & Mack were interviewed on this but I didn’t watch it. Wondering now where the hype came from. Shameful they didn’t update this story.
The names on his driver’s license and boarding pass didn’t match.
The two name thing sounds like a very legit reason for the TSA to raise an eyebrow and question him.
What did you make of “was the first to arrive at former APD officer Levi Chavez’s home the night Chavez’s wife Tera was found dead” as the reason for the name change?
Looks like it was a very bad mess to be involved in.
Holy crap. Seems like he stepped into a scorpion nest.
yes, even the “Common Core” curriculum has references that say all “right wing ‘radical’ groups” are recognized as extremists.
The simple truth...all across America....hundreds of local town and county law enforcement agencies....are corrupt. We all know this, and continually harp on this. Nothing much happens....unless a newspaper steps in and prints the stories to change the voting trends.
So-called Homeland Security now tasked with enforcing the copyright act:
I was interested in finding out where a NM Sheriff derives the authority...
A County Sheriff is the top law enforcement officer in his County. The County is his jurisdiction and his authority overrides a police chief’s.
Alex Jones says he was going to a “Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA) convention taking place in Las Vegas. CSPOA is an organization headed up by Sheriff Richard Mack under which law enforcement officers gather to re-affirm their commitment to uphold and defend the Constitution.”
I don’t follow conspiracy theories closely, but there may be more to this than what is seen at first glance.
Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping!
To get onto The Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping List you must threaten to report me to the Mods if I don't add you to the list...
I sure hope one of the conservative constitution loving law firms out there will take up this man’s case
Not enough info for me to tell, but it looks like a police department that wouldn’t be subverted was eliminated on a pretext.
yup that’s what it seems to me... disbanded because they didn’t agree with el dictator
I caught that, too. Didn’t come across it at Jones’ site, but saw it cross-linked and waited for updates before posting.
I still have yet to watch/listen to the interview & plan on that today. Given the link I updated in the thread, who knows what the deal is here without more info.
But I agree; there may very well be more to this...just apparently not what the ‘updated’ story asserted.
Yeah, no $hit. But they voted to keep him. Much more to this, I think.
A google search produced a news article that the Police Chief has an completely different identity - the names on his boarding pass and driver’s license were not even close to matching...
If the Police Chief was concealing an alternate identity, I would think that would violate his commission. It raises other questions among which are, “how could someone become chief of a police department (part-time or otherwise) without a thorough background check?”
Anyway, here’s the link I found:
I think you nailed it on ‘why 2 names’; didn’t find that yet.
How could someone become President of the United States without a thorough background check?????????????????????
I originally read about this on *the site that shall not be named* (starts with I, ends with S)...they were supposed to be interviewing the Chief - not sure if that happened. Drudge has been linking to that site, a lot, lately. Maybe he'll pick this up.
I have been told before that the Jemez is where “sex troubled priests” are sent to retire. But I don’t know how accurate that is nowadays.
Yes, I found it by cross links, too. Just something else to watch.
Yeas, they’re specializing in knock off football jersey stings. This is what out high powered antiterrorist department is spending tax payer provided resources on.
How could someone become President of the United States without a thorough background check?????????????????????HaHa! It boggles the mind, don't it?
That it does. That.it.does.
If Obama trying to replace the FBI?
I HATE THESE PEOPLE!
Do not comply!
Yeah, it’s not easy capturing the truth these days.
That could be an image of a vehicle belonging to the Jersey City Parking Authority ...
Holy crap is right. He needs to leave town. The corruption is broken open. Prosecution will be pursued or not and he can still testify whether or not he still lives there. Staying will likely mean his death or mutual corruption.
Sorry for slow response. I learned about pings :)
