Girl Scouts of Colorado decided that 7-year-old Bobby Montoya would be allowed to join his local Girl Scout chapter becauseas the attached video indicateshe identifies as a girl. The groups vice president of communications said that any child who is living life as a girl is eligible for membership in the organization.
Bobbys mother, Felisha Archuleta, claimed that her son was humiliated when he was [initially] turned away by a Girl Scout leader . Of course, the unfeeling GS representative was immediately chastised and provided Sensitivity Training for not understanding that little boys are really little girls when their mothers want them to be.
If he/she survives High School...

50 years ago the "parents" would have been locked up for child abuse.
150 years ago they would have been hanged.
Bad cases make bad grammar . . . . ;)
This poor kid. Sounds like he identifies with big sis (not having a dad in the household) and wants to be like her. So Mom, instead of explaining that it’s okay for boys to like girl things like cooking and playing dolls, has supported him in this absurd decision that he actually *is* a girl, thereby screwing him up for life. (I have two six-year-old boys and KNOW the idiocies they come up with every day!!!!! I would no more let them make life decisions at this age than try to walk to the moon.)
This happened 2 years ago
In one Council and has not been occurred anywhere else
I hope it is not considered “Breaking news”
Slow news day?
LOL!
There are more girls in UK Boy Scouts (home of Scouting Founder Baden-Powell) than there are boys - not enough Girl Guide leaders and troops
surprise
No the BSA does not admit girls (even though I would guess half the BSA leaders are women) but at 14 they can become co-ed Venture Scouts
Scouting is co-ed in all of those countries except the United States and Muslim countries.
Incidentally, the BSA made a big deal last year about referring to Scouts in the Venturing program as Venturing Scouts, and not Venture Scouts.
I used to like GS cookies. But I simply cannot support that crap.
My cardiologist will be happy.
well my DD is being recruited by a group and I believe they refer to themselves as a Venture Crew, not a Venturing Crew.
I will have to correct them. Thanks.
If they go to the Venturing Website or to any of the current Venturing materials, they'll see that all references are to Venturing Crews.

These children are being indoctrinated and brainwashed for politically correct political reasons. Parents should be investigated for child abuse,
A: Girl Scouts is proud to be the premiere leadership organization for girls in the country. Placement of transgender youth is handled on a case-by-case basis, with the welfare and best interests of the child and the members of the troop/group in question a top priority. That said, if the child is recognized by the family and school/community as a girl and lives culturally as a girl, then Girl Scouts is an organization that can serve her in a setting that is both emotionally and physically safe.
Q: How does Girl Scouts' position on serving transgender youth apply to situations involving camping or volunteers?
A: These situations are rare and are considered individually with the best interests of all families in mind. Should any girl requiring special accommodations wish to camp, GSUSA recommends that the local council makes similar accommodation that schools across the country follow in regard to changing, sleeping arrangements, and other travel-related activities. With respect to volunteers, Girl Scouts welcomes both male and female adult volunteers and has developed appropriate safeguards regarding roles and responsibilities to ensure that girls receive the proper supervision and support.

Can I get into MIT?
What the kid needs is a shrink, not admittance to the Girl Scouts. Boy, the APA really messed things up for these kids. Now there’s no research being conducted to help these kids; they have to be given special accommodation before they end up killing themselves. These kids need help not accommodation.
