The Mark of the Beast and the Demise of the New World Order
A Rood Awakening ^ | 31 January 2014 | Michael Rood

Posted on 02/01/2014 12:52:02 PM PST by Errant

There are few prophetic events that stir the imagination more than “the mark of the beast.” For millennia, Bible scholars have attempted to decipher this cryptic code, but not until the end of the age did we have the geo-political world line up so precisely as to offer a plausible explanation that links global religious fanaticism with the ability (or inability) to buy and sell without a “mark” in the right hand or forehead.

Tonight, on Shabbat Night Live, Michael Rood will take you into the first half of the mark of the beast expose in preparation for understanding its relationship in the upcoming demise of the new world order.

I see. Your enemies are those who do not subscribe to your particular understanding of doctrine and that is who you will spend your time and energy assaulting and declaring false and evil.

The culture has gone to hell, evil is being institutionalized and you would rather fire on Christians whom you disagree with on doctrinal understandings.

Tell me, has Rood denied the Divinity of Christ, His Resurrection, His Salvation through His blood for the remission of sins and the only path to Life being through Him? If so - then perhaps your accusation would have merit.

If not - you are sitting in judgement of whom God works with and whom He does not, over the minute matters of doctrinal understanding. Making you very much the Pharisee you are claiming Rood is attempting to create a cult following of.

Not about doctrine nor about fellow Christians...it’s about cults pushing their traps on a site that has clearly stated it supports the Christ of Christianity.

Rood is a cult leader...plain and simple.

And YES, Rood’s teachings will lead his followers to deny Christ’s deity.

You are free of course to investigate this in many places on line as well as debates his followers have engaged in.

How does one take that on their forehead or right hand?

Scripture is pretty specific about where the mark is to be on the body.

That puts it beyond the allegorical into the literal interpretation department.

I’ve made my position very clear here that I will not engage conversation about Roods teachings

Yet you saw fit to jump onto a thread ABOUT Rood's explanation and understanding of the end-time Beast. Not exactly the fruits of someone who would seek to avoid engaging in conversation about Rood's understandings.

nor give these a platform to mislead people from the Christ of Christianity.

And who on FR gave you this authority to decide what denominations and understandings in Christianity are permitted to be discussed here?

I probably have much to agree with you on in terms of our personal views of Rood's teachings. That is not the issue.

I think that given the time in which we now live, we should worry more about Secularism, Hedonism and Islam infecting the church and it's teachings, the poisoning of our kids than vociferous ranting against another Christian's doctrinal understandings in terms of how they prefer to worship and look at scripture.

Michael Rood was and is a cult leader.

He fully admits that he used to be a part of a manmade religious cult:

Michael Rood EXPOSED!

Not that it matters as much as what someone has to say, but I'd rather listen to someone who isn't afraid to admit their errors, seek the truth and change their ways, than someone who won't and continues with their false doctrine.

No offense caww, but if you find a error in one of Rood's teachings, or some conflict with what he is teaching in relation to scripture, please present it and lets discuss that.

Trying to apply scripture to some perceive defect in Rood (Like all of us, I quite sure he has many defects) that you find personally abhorrent, isn't productive in the least.

caww just did. Did you not read the comments about Rood claiming that we need to live under the Law?

.....”Well I suppose our only recourse is to agree to disagree and for you and I to continue on our separate paths”....

Which is exactly how it has been in the past when you’ve promoted this false teachers links and teachings and attempted to engage Christians in conversation. I believe it’s deception and misleads people into his cult who may not have a strong familiarity in God’s word...and that is how cults work.

Bait and switch is not a new game in town.....I will not give his teachings a platform but to call him and what his teachings are... a cult.

And YES, Rood’s teachings will lead his followers to deny Christ’s deity.

I'm afraid you're on pretty thin ice with that comment, as it places you fully into the "false witness" category.

I explained my error in not fully reading caww’s comment upstream, and replied accordingly.

Be my guest, notice I didn’t post this in the “Religious” category for the very reason that whatever issues one might have may be debated with vigor. The truth and pursuit thereof is what’s important. Let all of those with eyes and ears decide for themselves.

Again.... ‘Rood’ titled his book and promoted it as another means of deception.....most cult leaders can and do expose themselves as a matter of ‘reinventing’ themselves and their teachings in order to continue a following, especially when they’ve been “exposed” by the ‘real truth’ rather than a twisted truth that appeals to those who want to continue with them...... They do so because it works.

Doing an internet search showed up some stuff about Rood.

He was affiliated with The Way International.

He demands adherence to the Torah and observing the festivals and Sabbath, and has made several false prophecies. The last thing alone is enough to discredit him.

Scripture makes the allegory that Right Hand is an allegory is Doing or Action - and ‘forehead’ is a way of thinking:

“You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes”. - Deuteronomy 6:8

“Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads”. - Deuteronomy 6:8 NIV

“It shall be as a sign on your hand and as frontlets between your eyes, for by strength of hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt.” - Exodus 13:16

“And it will be like a sign on your hand and a symbol on your forehead that the Lord brought us out of Egypt with his mighty hand.” - NIV

“Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.” - Deuteronomy 11:18

RIGHT HAND:

“Your right hand, Lord, was majestic in power. Your right hand, Lord, shattered the enemy.” - Exodus 15:6

“in whose hands are wicked schemes, whose right hands are full of bribes.” - Psalm 26:10

“Why do you hold back your hand, your right hand? Take it from the folds of your garment and destroy them!” - Psalm 74:11

In my understanding, the Mark in Revelation is a way of thinking and acting, and anyone who does not think or act in the manner the Beast demands, cannot earn a living - buy or sell.

This is true in both Sharia, and in MarxoFascism. Obedience to the State IS the only religion permitted, and everyone has to think and act for the glory of the state.

...” Let all of those with eyes and ears decide for themselves”.....

That statement is another deception cult leaders use.....they claim they do not force anyone, New Ager’s claim each must decide for themselves and mingle Christian terminology with their false teachings as they lure the innocent into their web..... as do most cult leaders and teachers. Rood does this as well.

Jesus settled the matter.....He IS the Truth.

He was affiliated with The Way International.

He was and explains that affiliation fully and his subsequent exit after discovering what they were all about in the video I linked above; "Michael Rood Exposed".

Jesus settled the matter.....He IS the Truth.

And of course, in your mind, you're the one to tell us what that truth is... We're all to dumb and innocent to decide for ourselves, right?

As I've already said, if that's the path you're own, enjoy it without me.

Yes...he's one screwed up false cult teacher....last I knew he even dresses as an old time Jewish type Priest, .....but he's always changing his teachings, of course that's because he gets caught in his own date settings and how he sees things lining up...as well as how he views the Torah.... Those pass by then he has to reinvent himself and his teachings yet again.

Rood is not Jewish but a Gentile from the cult of The Way Int’l. ...that's where he started until there was a major split of course.

I've read many of his teachings and he's just not the least reliable....just as with many cult leaders...their significance goes to their head and they in no time do whatever is necessary to retain their following....and generally followers of cults are eager for any excuse or cover-up which will allow them to continue following their leader. So the leaders are quick to find the perfect cover.

Roods history is no secret...neither are his excuses....and his cover ups. That’s the thing about false teachers and cult leaders...they always have to reinvent themselves in order to maintain their following.
