Obama bullies small employers with bogus perjury charges, threats of prison
Coach is Right ^ | 2/16/14 | Doug Book

The most thoroughly corrupt Regime in the nation’s history has told the Treasury Department–read, I.R.S–that beginning immediately, the nation’s small business owners must “…”certify” that they are not shedding full-time workers simply to avoid the [ObamaCare employer] mandate. Officials said employers will be told to sign a “self-attestation” on their tax forms affirming this, under penalty of perjury.”

Could there be any example of outright thuggery which is more quintessentially “Barack?” Imagine employers being required to swear, “under penalty of perjury,” hand over heart and head bowed in supplication to The One that they, as business owners, “have not taken an action that they have every legal right to take.”

And could there be a less subtle way to inform the nations employers that...

"Do not blame the regime."

Oh, and it's not just the IRS being used to "convince" people to be quiet. From Frank Miele at Daily Inter Lake: "The FCC is about to launch a program they call a “Multi-Market Study of Critical Information Needs,” which according to Pai will “send researchers to grill reporters, editors and station owners about how they decide which stories to run."

The FCC was created by FDR as a tool to silence his radio critics. Looks like Obama has revived the tool. Political officers placed in press newsrooms is one scary development.

If a payment is a tax, and not a penalty, the Supreme Court has already ruled that tax avoidance is perfectly legal. See Gregory v. Helvering,1935, opnion written by Learned Hand, who said...

Anyone may so arrange his affairs that his taxes shall be as low as possible; he is not bound to choose that pattern which will best pay the Treasury; there is not even a patriotic duty to increase one’s taxes.

Republicants don’t recognize fascism when it slaps them around, and democrips embrace fascism warmly.

A Republican Party that was worth spit would make sure this was subject of a series of investigations by House committees.

Multiple reasons:

  1. It would keep the story in front of the electorate.
  2. It would be a chance to explain to the American people why the policies of Obama are crazy and destructive, and why the Republicans are the best hope of a defense against the damage and for a way to repair the damage
  3. It would generate tons of wonderful sound-bytes as the dimwitted socialist anti-work Democrats defended the policy.
  4. It would demonstrate that they care about something besides feeding their Potomac Fever.
  5. It would show everyone that they have a pulse.
  6. It would show the base that they cared.

To me, this is a no-brainer.

But I'm sure the Republican leadership can come up with all kinds of reasons why they can't do it.

From where I am sitting, there is no more “Republican” leadership; they are complicit. Our government is no longer “ours”, it is theirs and they intend to keep it that way.

Hypothetical:

Joe owns a business, and because of lower demand for his product, Joe has to lay off one employee or cut his hours to part-time. Joe's healthcare bill would be reduced by this action.

How can he NOT be guilty of perjury?

And who decides whether he is guilty?

And why would Joe EVER hire another full-time employee?

I sent this article and a letter to my Senator and Rep. in congress.

Hopefully they get complaints about this and finally wake up that this is much worse than anything Nixon ever did.

Take the oath then show your books and how you intend to cut costs and increase profits so you can pay more taxes. It’s the patriotic thing to do.

Talk about a waste of money. The “reporters” only report what the white house tells them to report. Are they afraid there is about to be a revolt? Or maybe the guy from the feds is actually the pay-off guy, the bag man.

How can you commit perjury by swearing and failing to do something that in itself was illegal?

Barry REALLY doesn’t want lots of stories coming out about how jobs are being lost due to Obamacare. This prevents any business owner from saying to any reporter “Due to Obamacare’s added expenses, I had to eliminate XXX positions”.

Who needs a Legislative or Judicial Branch of Gov’t? We have the Negro-In-Chief who has usurped these branches entirely. And we have about 50% of the population who supports him, because he is black and a Democrat.

Thus for those small businesses that must “shed” because of ObamaCare, their options are lie or go out of business?

Little Andy can move back to Italy where his kind of gangsterism comes from.

It was a black day when the corrupt Cuomo family was allowed into our country, hundreds of years after better people made the heroic efforts to establish it as a land of individual freedom.

He can move to Sicily and run a protection racket, I’m sure that will make him a Big Man.
