Democrats Have Been Waiting For ObamaCare To Become Popular For Four Years

obamacare millennials

They're going to be waiting a long time:

Democrats have been waiting for ObamaCare to become popular for four years.

And counting.

Congressional leaders and senior White House advisers have been saying since 2010 that public opinion will turn their way sometime soon. Be patient, they have told anxious members of their party again and again.

...ObamaCare helped catapult Rep. John Boehner (R-Ohio) to the speakership of the House, and demolished dozens of Democratic political careers.

Democrats now face the prospect of a second midterm drubbing in 2014, and the healthcare law is even more unpopular than it was last time around.

According to a Pew survey released last week, 53 percent of the public disapproves of the Affordable Care Act, with only 41 percent saying they approve. Opinions were split almost evenly in the fall of 2010 before the Republican wave election, which Obama called a “shellacking.”

Adding to the nervousness among ObamaCare’s advocates is the fact that enrollment numbers lag significantly behind the administration’s original estimates.

The Democrats nationalized 1/6th of our economy and forced the cancellation of close to 5 million policies and they wonder why its unpopular? Obama can continue to give the finger to the Constitution by pushing back the deadline dates for this and that but sooner or later the youth will be forced to pay heavy bills and fines. Think its unpopular now?

If it’s so great, why is The One trying to postpone the employer mandate for another 2 years? Because 60-100 million people will lose their employer provided healthcare? But they’re supposedly going to love paying more for less through the exchanges!

Thats not the point and thats not what we should focus on.

It doesn’t matter that “100 million” working Americans pay more and get less. What matters is that Shaneequa, with her 12 kids, can get free abortions for her 14 year old daughter.

Of course it is. People vote based on what's happening in their own life, not what you think "we" should focus on.
