UKRAINE PROGRESS REPORT: situation in Donetsk.

GOOGLE/BING TRANSLATION: Progress report, 25 day prayer marathon in Donetsk. Today we were visited by brothers and sisters from the Kiev prayer gallop. Brought two big bags calendars - significant assistance to us, as well brought donations that they were given.

In the first half of the day was cold and the rain came, there were not many people on this our guests, including myself, have decided to go to the camp of the pro-Russian activists on Lenin Square, with gifts in the form of calendars with the Christian sense.

Previously, I called their camp commandant, received permission for a peacekeeping mission. We waited, now all the waiting and all the Donetsk Ukraine is waiting .. and these guys that are there, which is waiting.

Everyone was tired from the constant stress and uncertainty that bends more than the bitter truth. It seems, comes to them, they are only pawns in someone's dirty game.

In principle, all was peaceful, we handed calendars talked on various topics, tell them about Christ. Someone listened to someone there, someone was initially sent to the conflict, but in general we have not been beaten and kicked out. The city is relatively quiet as there is no newcomers "torpedoes" that beat for the money, and the main pro-Russian ideologists develop a different strategy as to destabilize the Donetsk.

We went back to our prayer tent, occasionally people began to appear with whom we talked, prayed, gave the Gospel and calendars. Then, was time for Evening prayer, everything went well until the very end out of the corner of my eye I saw what that movement in the underpass, and drew attention to what it is that a young man wearing a face mask, is moving in our direction. I turned on the camera to film and went to meet him to see that it is removed he was running away, I caught up with him, said that God and we love him. Quite a young boy, in the head wind, he is here and threw stones and eggs at us, I think he wanted to go green paint splash or do other dirty trick. With us in prayer was a doctor who just came to the tent, and prayed with us. She said that, "These are thugs gushed zelenkoj girl's eyes, and now she is in the hospital with burns eye cornea." With this kid I talked, but did not reach. I thought that a dozen such foolish youths without much constraint in conscience can hurt or kill a person, to imagine something to prove.

Tomorrow is Saturday, again pro-Russian provocation rally is planned that is entirely possible, difficult to predict. The guys will be on duty in the tent and our friends from Kiev possible here to keep them company, really do not know how they will be after the night prayer. As always say that tomorrow is planned provocation, that is entirely possible.

Someone announced pro-Ukrainian rally, but I am 100% sure what it is misinformation for provocation. Those who beat and killed March 13 supporters for a United Ukraine are NOW DISGUISED as soldiers of the right sector, but are pro-Russian activists that beat Ukraine. Yanukovych as Putin needs conflict, and an occasion that would launch a military operation on us, as it was done in the Crimea.

They do not stop at nothing unless God ... pray with us, pray for us, pray for Ukraine.

Two different Accounts from Obama- Putin Phone call.

I believe Putin's account from history of who tells the truth.

Obama has to fly 2,000 miles from Rome to Saudi Arabia unscheduled trip as he was summoned by the King of Saudi Arabia and then dis invited for dinner

Things must have gone well.

Donetsk and Kharkiv will soon be part of a separate eastern Ukraine. Russia must and will have a broad and unobstructed land bridge to Crimea, and Moscow will go to war to keep it. Donetsk is a strategic manufacturing center for Russia’s military and (like Crimea) will not be allowed to fall into NATO’s hands. We might not like what is happening in Ukraine, but it is vital to Russia’s security and it is going to happen.

“Russia’s security”

-no one, and I mean NO ONE, is threatening Russian security.

Nor ours, today. But nations don't base their future security solely upon current events. Governments change. Loyalties change. Alliances change. Like all prudent people and businesses, governments reserve to potential of what could go wrong.

And lest we think any person or nation has a lock on virtue, let him or it gain absolute, unchecked power and see what ensues. NATO had that kind of power during the 1990s and most of the 2000s, and transformed itself from a defensive stance against Soviet invasion to an active encirclement of Russia. Putin would have been derelict to let that continue unchecked, and thwarted us in Georgia in 2008 and now in Ukraine. We've become so accustomed to having our way that we've forgotten both sides have a say in such matters.

Russians are paranoid, being invaded by Napoleon, the Kaiser and Hitler will tend to do that.

You make a good point, and I don’t disagree that our country has over-reached many times lately into other countries affairs. I don’t particularly like it.

I scanned the collected quotes in your profile and figured we probably think alike on most things. The hardest and most unpopular questions are most necessary in times of great crisis, when the professional manipulators are out in full force.
