"Some Christian leaders and Pastors have been making some pretty big leaps to actually recommend that Christians not only embrace Darren Aronofskys Noah movie but pay to see it. A couple of such articles I have read include one written exclusively for ChristianPost.com by John Snowden, the Biblical Consultant to filmmakers on the 'Noah' movie
And another by Phil Cooke titled Why I'm Recommending Christians See the Movie "Noah" Many tweets by supporters have echoed some of the main points in those two articles so I will focus on Mr. Cookes article. Before the film was released, these leaders contended that they were bothered by the fact that Christians in opposition had not actually seen- the film yet and were basing their remonstrances on hear-say. I was one who was basing mine on Glenn Becks take. But after I viewed the movie on Friday, I was actually more appalled and later wrote my review Don't Get Punked by Paramount's Pagan "Noah" Film.
Mr. Cooke opened his article by writing "Heres why I think Christians need to see the movie: 1. Ive been on the set. Ive talked to.." (continued)

Saying you should see it before criticizing it is ridiculous, they are asking us to enrich Hollywood to have an opinion
Do they think we should do gay sex before having an opinion?
Looks like they’re pimping for people to see their movie, just like some bloggers pimp here on FR with unnecessary excerpts.
Just saw it this evening. I do not recommend it.
That’s 2 hours I’ll never get back again. Very questionable theology to say the least.
I found the acting outstanding, and if it had been a simple fictional story, probably quite entertaining. Biblical? Adhering to the spirit of Biblical? Not much. Having an agenda? Definitely.
This Christian will not waste her money nor her time on what is obviously the same old Hollywood “entertainment.”
“Christian” pastors who marry sodomites, reject the personality of Satan, question the resurrection, etc, etc.
We’ve got a whole bunch of low information, pragmatic pastors whirling around these days.
That’s so sad, why does the line “lead us not into temptation” come to mind?
Buy a ticket to “God is not dead”, watch god is not dead, then buy another ticket for god is not dead, watch Noah instead and laugh at the silly rock people...
