Comrade Bill de Blasio, the mayor of New York City, is starting to do all of the destructives things anyone with any brains could foresee.
De Blasio is owned by two factions of the Left: the teacher’s union and the Working Families Party (WFP). The teachers union is closing in on an unheard of eight year contract. The teachers know they have to nail down their benefits now because things will be different when sanity returns to New York and de Blasio is shown the door. They looked at the stunts Wisconsin public service unions pulled and opted for guaranteed booty against the possibility that the “party” would end after a few years.
The WFP which was ironically formed to serve the interests of those who are not interested in working...

New York is special. The billionaires, media stars and financial stars will always be drawn to it.
They can afford socialism.
It appeals to their sensitivity.

Since the beginning of the Republic, New York has maintained a stranglehold over capital investment and the nation’s economy by being the banking center. Break up the “too big to fail” government backed New York banking cartel, spread capital around the country to regional banking centers, and the USA will have a healthier economy.
Strong regional and local banks will invest the retirement savings of the working class in the local economy instead of sending it off to third world countries or churning it in the stock market. Breaking up the the government backed Wall Street banks and investment houses will also destroy the tax base of New York which is today able to indirectly extract taxes on the rest of the country through its taxation of robber barrons who steal the savings of the middle class through outrageous fees to “invest” 401K and IRA savings.
Everybody hates Bill de Blasio. Will Rogers said, “I never met a man I didn’t like.....except for Bill de Blasio. I hate him. What kind of man makes up his own name and puts a ‘de’ in it?”

That is why he got elected mayor, everybody hates him.I would say that the majority of New York City voters love him. Same as the occupier of the White House. If the majority of voters hated him, he would not be where he is now.
