Here's a few funnies as we're about to round the corner on this week...

Except for #6 all of these are (or should be) profiles in liberalism...6 was probably conceived by conservatives for libs...

The “come a little closer” sign actually makes sense when you zoom in and see what they’re advertising. Seems like a perfectly good marketing strategy.

Would it be alright if I tried a condom on a boneless banana?

Ten pound bag of mice.

That does sound good.

Whoooaa babies! Don't get off of that ride until it comes to a full stop.

My teachers really failed me. When I was doing poorly in school they never once pointed me towards a career in journalism.

Only if they are breaded and deep fried. Otherwise, mice are terrible.

I read somewhere that the ancient Romans considered cooked door mice a delicacy. I can’t recall how they were prepared tho.

I don’t believe dormice were technically mice and not really even sure that they were rodents. Not sure why I know this, lol, probably recalling some obscure side discussion from Western Civ all these years later. Just weird enough to have stuck with me.

My local Walmart had a sign “The Elder scrolls online” release date Tuesday April 4th. April 4th was a Friday this year. Right next to it? I sign releasing the Blue Ray DVD for some movie ... Available Tuesday April 14th. April 14th was a Monday this year.

Sign on an ATM machine in a gas station beer outlet ... “Use your EBT card here”. That I took a picture of.

Oh my goodness, are these real? Too, too funny!

The first one reminds me of Chuck Scarborough, the long time NY news anchor.

One night they had a story, it was really quite tragic, some very young man had died, I forget how he died, but I think he was the son of a prominent person and that’s why it was on the news.

So they tell the story of the event(s) that lead to the death and Scarborough sums up by saying in a flat, monotone voice “...and later, he died.”

Hubby and I were like: way to show sympathy Chuck!

One of the local TV stations played a segment, probably supplied by their network, saying that mammograms may not be as important as thought.

That was followed by the two news readers presenting a spiel about how good that segment was and how they were starting a program to remind women to get mammograms.

It was funny because they had no idea what the video they had just played, really said.

In the old days I was a typesetter on a country weekly. They had a story about some mixed up captions in another paper. An old ruin of a barn burned down the same day a prominent dowager died. The caption under her photo said "The old eyesore is gone at last."
