I pray that no person even gets a hang-nail from any resolution to this. Reasonable people need to prevail, and put the federal thugs to heel.

"If BLM thinks Nevada was bad, just wait till they face the Texan/Oklahoma group. They ain’t seen nothin’ yet."

Even a finance guy from Michigan knows that.

So you are saying that the river changes course and in the example, the increased land on the south belongs to the southern rancher, and the rancher to the north just loses some acreage?

That is my understanding of what is generally true, but I could see that there might have been some provision in the deed so that each Rancher would maintain the same acreage.

Point is what does it have to do with the Fed? The land belongs to the Ranchers be it the guy on the northern side or the guy on the southern side. Fedizilla has no claim to any land, if the deed references the red river as the boundary.

They need the shootin’ war to “temporarily” suspend the Constitution and elections.

Here’s another link to gov’t over-reach…..using drones to spy on American citizens because they “thought” they were stealing cattle. Not guilty BTW. Big Brother is watching.

3 of my grandchildren are the children of a first generation American (former E-4) whose parents were refugees from Pol-Pot's killing fields.

There doesn't need to be a shooting war here. Rational people need to bring the dogs of war to heel.

But if it does happen, Katy bar the door.

Interesting that loggers can’t have jobs because of the spotted owl, but solar companies can kill any and all birds that happen to get entangled.

This is #1 of 75 videos on the subject. It might be an idea to download them all considering what happened at the Bundy Ranch this past week.<

The Red River Boundary Compact was approved by the legislatures of Texas, Oklahoma, and the United States Congress.

http://www.statutes.legis.state.tx.us/Docs/NR/htm/NR.12.htm

(b) The permanent political boundary line between the states of Texas and Oklahoma along the Red River is the vegetation line along the south bank of the Red River except for the Texoma area, where the boundary does not change. For purposes of this compact:
(1) the Texoma area extends from the east bank of Shawnee Creek (which flows into the Red River from the south approximately one-half mile below the Denison Dam) at its mouth to the upper end of the normal pool elevation of Lake Texoma (which is 617 feet); and
(2) the upper end of the normal pool elevation of Lake Texoma is along the latitude of 33 degrees 54 minutes as it crosses the watercourse at the approximate location of longitude 96 degrees 59 minutes.

Byers is not in the area of Lake Texoma.

Are they? The man who enabled the murders of millions of millions in SE Asia wants an encore. His boss wants it to happen on US soil. His mentor, the guy in his neighborhood, the one he barely met, in whose living room he launched his political career, Bill Ayres, openly advocated murdering 25 million Americans.

That's pretty far off-topic from a Red River boundary dispute.

Whatever it is I’ll bet Texans have more all by themselves, and then there’s the Okies stash.

LOL. I’m a retired finance gal from Missouri. My Daddy grew up on a farm, armed to the teeth, and not too concerned about what the government thought they could make him do - kinda like Texans if you know what I mean.

That article is not dated right, the Laney issue was about 10 years ago. The government has been doing this sort of thing for years, environmentalists have been in bed with the government and using every excuse under the sun.
