Leo & Gino Garibaldi, Wild Red Berry, Lou Thess (sic), Gorgeous George, Baron Michel Leone, and Jesse Ventura (ha ha). Just wanted to prove that you don’t forget everthing as you age. I used to sit on the sofa with Grandma and Grandpa and cheer for the good guys. Those were the good old days !!!!!!!!, Karen

What about Gorgeous George?

(That's the only wrestler's name I know, LOL).

My best friend’s Mother was watching a wrestling match on TV.
One of the wrestlers was about as bad as he could act. Suddenly she grabbed a broom and headed for the TV set. My friend’s Daddy was able to disarm her before she broke the TV.

Don’t forget Dude Love!

But I did - too many characters to remember! What's amazing is how different they were from each other.

I remember an interview many years ago on a 60 minutes type show. I'm pretty sure it was John Stossel who was interviewing a wrestler and asked him flat out an=bout matches being faked. The guy knocked him flat on his ass, looked down at him and asked, "Does that feel fake?"

I saw that too and the wrestler should have been thrown in jail for a very long time. It was a simple assault. No question the wrestler was large and powerful and capable of inflicting damage on the little guy.

Of course it is fake. The wrestler was also a jackass.

Killer Kowalski

You have to be pretty old to remember him. My Babcia loved watching him in the 50’s on that new fangled thing called tv.
