Building a platform on a lie; the GOP is getting ready to insure the next president is a Democrat
Coach is Right ^ | 5/16/14 | Kevin "Coach" Collins

There are people who believe Elvis is alive and there are those who insist that the phases of the moon effect human conduct; then there are those who believe kowtowing to Hispanics will bring Republicans victory in 2016.

The fact that many people believe these things doesn’t make them true. While the first two are harmless fairytales believed by supermarket tabloid readers, the third is a dangerous lie believed by far too many decision makers in the Republican leadership.

Like the first two, the supposed connection between capturing the Hispanic vote and insuring victory for Republicans cannot be defeated with evidence that contradicts it.

Even in the face of a mathematical formula showing Mitt Romney could have won 70% of Hispanic votes and still lost, the GOPe will not give up the fairytale they believe.

Now “just” 18 months before the next presidential election the Republican hierarchy are beginning to show signs...

“...then there are those who believe kowtowing to Hispanics will bring Republicans victory in 2016.”

Right... like kow towing to ANY minority has EVER worked for Republicans!

Every republican congresscritter needs to be told that bringing any immigration bill of any kind to the house floor will result in the instant death of the republican party. No votes at all. All of them must be told that the leadership will cost every single one of them their seat.

The GOP ‘leadership’ has the same lack of logic that the liberals do. It’s beyond me how any adult can be so incapable of rational thought.

Here’s the reality of the next POTUS election.
The “blue wall” is at 246 electoral votes.
Six times voting Democrat POTUS (or more) in a row.

Anybody think any of those is gonna change?
All they have to do is add Ohio or Florida and they’re done.

They are very capable of rational thought.

The reason that some think the GOP is stupid is because the GOP has lied to them, and those people bought those lies.

The GOP has successfully convinced many people that the GOP is something that it most certainly is not.

The GOP and the Democrat party are both GOVERNMENT.

They both have the same agenda, because they are the exact same thing- government.

The are pursuing the exact same goal, and they are achieving that goal by dividing and conquering us with lies and deceit.

Pale Pastels!

I'm telling you folks, the GOP is being run my Democrats. Whomever is
giving these orders and talking points is Not a Republican, but rather
a Democrat spy who has infiltrated the GOP. It's also not unheard of for
a politician in a rage to switch sides out of spite. A Traitor!

Who is making these decisions to ensure defeat for GOP?

Thank God SOMEONE understands the truth here.

Call them the ‘uniparty’, the Ruling Class, whatever - state control and unlimited power is what the Democrats and the Republicans in fascist cooperation with big business are all about.

The concept of individual liberty and limited government is as foreign to them as it is to a Jihadist desperate to establish the global Caliphate.

In fact, the Jihadist and the career politician and party want the same thing: a Beast of a government that controls everyone.

You're missing a point here.

Even in the face of a mathematical formula showing Mitt Romney could have won 70% of Hispanic votes and still lost, the GOPe will not give up the fairytale they believe.

The GOPe comprising McConnell, Boehner and all their sycophants, lieutenants and political operatives have no problem disbelieving the "fairy tale". It's not a question of "belief". It's a question of money and coercive power. They are bought off as they represent entrenched interests that are pulling their strings.

These people of the GOPe have a job to do. Their job is to follow the instructions of their masters, and at the same time try and look good in some sense to their base. They're not doing so well on the latter but without the former they are finished. If they had any sense of ethics or morals or principles, they would resign but they think as gangsters think that if they step down someone worse will take their place. So they are both full of themselves and at the same time controlled by powerful interests (gun to the head so to speak).

It's not complicated.

The questions we have before us are 1) Do we know the true power brokers behind the scenes of the GOPe? (and the democrats for that matter), and 2) if we know are we prepared to do anything about it?

They are persecuting Republicans and other normal people. They are willing to lie, cheat and steal to get another marxist elected.

That ANY US politician should pander to minorities is a blueprint for ceaseless social discord-nevermind, the ultimately unworkable economics of the thing.

There is no rationale in that. It is a ‘Lose/Lose’ script for everyone concerned....because eventually, EVEN the freeloaders lose when the whole house of cards fails, as it must over time.

If the GOP consistently stood on principles, there would be no need to respond to any rumors. The party is so weak and feckless it is easily manipulated by Democrats. and their pals in the media.

Excellent post. The GOP is, by and large, compromised and not the least bit interested in representing true conservative interests. If they were, government would a lot smaller than it is today.

Its amazing how often they get away with duping their voter base.

It's not complicated.

No. It's not.

It's called Fascism … Mussolini-styled.

And the big money likes the partnership with Statist Big Government because government will eliminate their competition for them and create monopolies beholden to government.

It's incestuous, and it always becomes tyrannical and destructive.
