5 Reasons Government Can Not Work The Way Liberals Tell You It Can

It’s an argument that that’s been raging for years. Liberals believe bigger and more expansive government is the solution to all of our country’s problems. Conservatives on the other hand believe the opposite, a smaller, less intrusive central government will free America to soar, and restore growth and prosperity.

This post from John Hawkins at Townhall shows why big government can never work the way liberals claim it will:

1) It’s not the government’s money: One of the biggest reasons a “kid in a candy store” acts like a “kid in a candy store” is because he didn’t have to earn the money he’s about to spend.

It’s no different for the government. Government employees are not the ones working double shifts when they’re exhausted to collect enough money to pay their taxes. They just collect the sweat of someone else’s brow and spend it the way they see fit.

Democrat and Republican professional politicians prefer Big Government because it means more money and a luxurious lifestyle for themselves and their cronies. They could care less about the negative effect it has on the rest of the country.

The post rather fallaciously posits that liberals, while misguided, are benign. As far as professional liberal politicians and their wealthy backers are concerned, nothing could be further from the truth; until conservatives are either killed or enslaved, liberals will never be satisfied with the amount of power they have over the nation.

2.capitalism or the free market works. when you have a large problem you have to break it down into smaller problems to be able to solve it. then each very small simple problem can be solved by an accountable private business. even a small simple problem probably won’t be solved by a government agency because they are not accountable.

The EPA and Obama define a problem to be solved “global warming” . but that is a fake crisis. it doesn’t exist. if you tried to sell global warming in the free market . no one would pay to solve it.go try it liberals . start a business and try to sell global warming.so gov is unnaccountable.

2.capitalism or the free market works. when you have a large problem you have to break it down into smaller problems to be able to solve it. but how do you define how the larger problem is broken down into smaller problems or what what smaller problems are and then the sub problems of the smaller? you can't , government thinks they can but no one can do that by planning. it has to be tried out by trial an error in the free market. Friedman explained how no one planned the manufacturing of a pencil( the rubber companies for the eraser, the wood companies, the graphite mining companies etc.)then each very small simple problem can be solved by an accountable private business. even a small simple problem probably won't be solved by a government agency because they are not accountable.
