[Video] 8 Year Old Schoolboy Reprimanded For Thinking a Cloud Looked Like a Gun During Assignment May 22 2014 by Dan Cannon Share This Post

So I think we’re officially to the point where our public schools are punishing children for their imagination.

According to KKTV,

Second grader Kody Smith was assigned to go outside, look at the clouds, and then use his imagination to draw what he saw.

“Draw a picture of what you see in the clouds from your imagination and that picture is a gun,” explained 8-year-old Kody.

Because it was a gun, the teacher at Talbott Elementary in Widefield called him into the office, and then filed a behavior report. His parents say that’s too much.

So this kid is punished because he didn’t see an elephant or a unicorn or whatever else the school *thought* he should see when he looked at some clouds? Really?

This is just the latest example of the zero tolerance hysteria which has swept our nation’s schools.

Check out our article, The Plan to Disarm America Within Two Generations is Happening RIGHT NOW for more details on how these school policies will be the downfall of the Second Amendment.

Mind control of our kids for sure.

If he drew a picture of two gay males forn..ing, err, sharing their love, I am sure he would have got an A.

Sending a child to government school is child abuse.

Thought I might get some pushback on that... it’s about a 2/10 in importance, but a clean “traditional” look would help bolster protecting his son from the zeitgeist culture.

Jesus needed a haircut. Hair styles change with the centuries. I don’t get the comment.

Colleges too, especially the Ivy league ones on the upper east coast like “Hah-vaad” and Yale. It’s absolutely astounding how many brain dead liberals those abominations posing as a schools spew out. I mean just think: We have a POTUS who claims he was a Professor of Constitutional law at Harvard, yet he doesn’t know the first thing about the constitution. How the hell does that work? Or how about Sheila Jackson Lee? Graduate of Yale, thinks men walked on Mars and that the constitution is 400 years old.

Instead of a gun, the boy should have drawn a penis and testes...the government teacher would have given him praise and a gold star.

I have a confession to make in anonymity.
When I was in third grade I routinely decorated the margins of my spelling tests with crude drawings of all manner of weaponry: swords, knifes, spears, guns, etc.
I'm rather embarrassed to admit that today I own no weapons (but I'm thinking of purchasing a firearm), although I'm an NRA member, and if you don't count a Swiss Army Knife.
I was 11B10 in the military, and am now a physician.
I have never harmed a citizen with a weapon.
I shudder to think what I would be subjected to were I a third grader today.

I think he’s actually a rare man who looks good with what appears to be a tidy, longer-haired cut.

Many of us who ride motorcycles wear our hair long for a practical reason. Helmets are supposed to fit tight. Tight helmets fold my ears as the helmet slides into place. Long hair lets the helmet slide on without folding my ears.

A side benefit is reduced wind noise at speed. Friends whose job requires a more conformal look put on a snazzy skull cap to prevent the discomfort.
