Oh, and for the record, I’m not a hater, just a realist who has the ability to rcognize the internet brodadoccio for what it is .........
What you are is covered in Selco’s article. You would have known that if you had bothered to read it.
Do you mean braggadocio?
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
“Oh, and for the record, Im not a hater, just a realist who has the ability to rcognize the internet brodadoccio for what it is”
That’s Internet braggadocio, and if that’s what you think is going on here, I suggest you read Selco’s personal history.
It takes a certain and unjustly-confident self-'brodadoccio'(sic) to go around threads looking for chances to 'rcognize(sic) internet brodadoccio(sic)', especially on a thread of well-meaning people who wish to help one another with this topic.
They have a word for this sort of behavior: Troll. You and I have a history, in which you were trolling me on a grief- and obituary-thread, coming to conclusions you had no evidence or right to make.
You are a troll. A miserable, unhappy troll.
Why do people prep? It is an insurance policy. So is a gun. So are actual insurance policies.
If you carried your tone and demeanor to the topic of fire insurance: You would accuse a fire-insurance policy-holder of being a internet braggart, hoping for a fire, and being a wannabe-fireman.
I prep. I prep reasonably, not idiotically (blowing a lot of payroll on it). But yes, I believe in insurance policies. The SHTF-scenario may never come, I hope it doesn't -- though I cannot see how it won't, on our out-of-control Federal budget, alone.
Stop being a troll. Stop assuming you know everyone else's motivations and life stories. Stop assuming you know it ALL.
