Further, many stars never even studied at a university, having left for Hollywood as soon as they could.

Ok, I disagree.
Entertainment celebrities are destroying America but for the most part, they are not doing it intentionally, they are just doing their job.
Their job is to be popular and entertain. That means telling the populace that it is never their fault, it is always someone else’s fault. This is simply an extension of the old saying “flattery will get you anywhere” to mass media.
Furthermore, after achieving success, they surround themselves with yes men. Why ? Because they tend to fire people who disagree with them.
So you have a profession where you job is to be a people pleaser and then you surround yourself with people pleasers and you get hollywood disfunction.
You get an echo chamber where you and your audience are perfect and it is always someone else’s fault and you eventually get decay in morals in all and the eventual destruction of all.
I am going to disagree about Jon Stewart. I don’t like Stuart, but he is a college grad of William and Mary and his dad was professor of Physics.
An actor is someone who stands before an audience and repeats what someone else wrote for them.
understandable they’d want to pretend to be able to think for themselves.
And then there’s the pathetic public that glorifies these idiots
Yeah, but did you catch any of the K&K festivities from their wedding in Italy? Yeah, me neither.
If we Americans cannot redesign the curriculum at public schools, and also make it easier for people of faith to have public lives, this country cannot hope to last.
