I’m glad to see someone is doing this.
Hopefully, many groups are trying to get the signatures required....churches, etc. There are only 30 days to submit the signatures, I believe.
Do they call it the Ted Bundy memorial bill?
if some idiot in houston perceives or wants to express himself as a dog can he pizz on a fire hydrant in front of city hall ?
Mayor Porker on right
The big church coalition called Pastors Council is getting signatures but its not going to do much. You need a CHARTER AMENDMENT which is like an amendment to the Constitution but local government. We are trying to bring them over to Wilson’s petition because their’s can easily be swept away by succeeding lib councils.
I like it!
If it violates state law isn’t it null and void?
good point...a TRO will bring up such a point I’m sure.
My gosh, have we become so stupid that we must petition such an obvious thing? There is no hope for us!
Better on the Mayor’s leg.
People are getting enough of the bull.

San Francisco - I get it.
But Houston has this crap too?
Unfortunately, a lot of Texas cities have this garbage imposed on them. I’m just surprised that Houston took so long.
Does anyone know how to send the link to the Sam Malone Show? He rants on this in the morning, but his Facebook page is sending everyone to the Pastor’s Coalition (not that that’s a bad thing) :-)
The charter is a PERMANENT SOLUTION...it is like an amendment to the Constitution. The REFERENDUM led by Pastors Council can be be usurped by the next liberal council just by a vote.
PUBLIC SHOULD GO AHEAD AND SIGN BOTH
CHARTER AMENDMENT-PAC-HOUSTONIANS FOR FAMILY VALUES
