The woman at the center of the Donald Sterling racism scandal, the ex-Los Angeles Clippers owners gal pal V Stiviano, was badly beaten up by two white men in New York City on Sunday night, her lawyer has confirmed exclusively to RadarOnline.
Around 7pm, as Stiviano was leaving the Gansevoort Hotel in Manhattans Meatpacking District, two white men descended on her, attorney Mac Nehorary said.
They were about 57 and they knew exactly who she was. They began to hit her and called her the N word.
Other disgusting slurs were made against her. She was able to run away and several onlookers then began attempting to apprehend the two men.
Stiviano was taken to a doctor who examined her for possible injuries, he said.
She is expected to make a full recovery, although one side of her face is extremely red and she is obviously very scared (about her wellbeing), Nehorary added to Radar.
Stiviano hadnt filed a police report yet, he added.
She will probably do so (but) her immediate reaction was to run away from the attackers and get to safety, Nehorary revealed.
Sterlings alleged mistress and her lawyer are in New York to appear on CNNs Anderson Cooper 360 on Monday.
Sterling, 80, was banned for life from the NBA by Commissioner Adam Silver because of the controversy over the racist comments recorded by Stiviano who, some sources insisted, was never his lover.
Last Friday, Sterlings estranged wife, Shelly, reached an agreement to sell the Los Angeles Clippers for $2 billion, pending league approval.
This is not the first time Stiviano has faced issues since the scandal broke: As Radar detailed, she had received death threats and was forced to seek advice from a counselor to deal with the fallout of the scandal!
V started getting death threats almost immediately after Sterlings racist rants which she recorded were made public, a source previously said.
Most of the threats were made on social media, and this is one of the reasons why she has scaled back her activity. It has been very scary for V, and she also hired a bodyguard.
During the outing on Sunday night, Stiviano was with a group of friends, but became separated from them as she was leaving the New York hotspot.
Stiviano will still be on Anderson Coopers show Monday night, Nehorary told Radar.
No one will intimidate her, he said.
"She is expected to make a full recovery, although one side of her face is extremely red and she is obviously very scared "
Does not equal this:
Brutally Beaten Up In NYC
She didn’t file a police report because she was too busy calling the news media.
What kind of beating on a city street by strangers that leads to a trip to the hospital isn’t brutal?
She and he are disgusting people who care nothing about marriage vows. They truly deserve each other.
and she also hired a bodyguard.
Me thinks she needs to get better body guards
Read the story.
She did not go to a hospital, she was “taken to a doctor.”
She was “examined for injuries” and all they can find is that her face is red.
I don’t know about you, but where I live, two or three good punches will do a lot more damage than that. A “red face” is what you get from a slap in a bar, not a “brutal beating.”
My point is simply that this is a sensationalized headline.
Most of them true, I imagine.
I think it would be awful if someone called her a slut, a whore, or a moneygrubbing snake. Just awful.
What was she doing there? Was she alone? Nobody had a cell phone or camera? ???
I don't care who wins as long as the NBA and that Silver twerp lose!
Staged for publicity?
trying to go unnoticed.
with her name on her hat...
Demonstrating she is “Whore de Jour” and pushing the boundaries of her 15 minutes.
Fake but, “Reel”.
Doing whater she can to attain fame, while inadvertantly becoming infamous...
She should try her schtick at Duke University....
Where was this bodyguard she “had to hire”?
We’re still in the early days here. This is good for at least another half dozen chapters.
As a former bodyguard I can tell you that guarding her would be a snoozefest. No one would even recognize her.
