Abdulrahman al-Awlaki was someone's child too

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it." - Joseph Goebbels

Barack Obama has refused to apologize for releasing the terrorist Dream Team. That ought to surprise no one. Obama has never apologized for anything, let alone his monumental "you can keep your plan" lie. It was widely reported that he apologized, but he most certainly did not. He said:

“I am sorry that they are finding themselves in this situation based on assurances they got from me,”

He's sorry that people did not understand his brilliance. He's not sorry that he lied. Lying is in his DNA. He's programmed to lie.

Describing his capitulation to the Taliban, Obama made a couple of interesting statements. He said of Bergdahl:

"This is somebody's child."

Abdulrahman al-Awlaki was also someone's child but Obama killed him. In 2011 Obama killed the 16 year old American, his cousin and five other civilians who were someone's children.

My grandson was killed by his own government. The Obama administration must answer for its actions and be held accountable. On Friday, I will petition a federal court in Washington to require the government to do just that.

Abdulrahman was born in Denver. He lived in America until he was 7, then came to live with me in Yemen. He was a typical teenager — he watched “The Simpsons,” listened to Snoop Dogg, read “Harry Potter” and had a Facebook page with many friends. He had a mop of curly hair, glasses like me and a wide, goofy smile

Obama has killed approximately 200 of someone's children. He has killed them every bit as much as he killed Bin Laden.

The other thing that caught my eye was this quote:

"We don't leave men and women in uniform behind."

Well that explains it. Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty weren't wearing uniforms when Obama left them to die in Benghazi.

About the big lie, Goebbels didn't say that "if you elect a big enough LIAR, everyone will eventually believe HIM."

Given the choice between telling the truth or a lie, Obama always chooses the lie...even when it is unnecessary.

He was deliberately target because of his father Anwar al-Awlaki.

The American born teenager had nothing to do with terrorism...but was placed on Obama's kill list just because of his father.

It's the Chicago way

Obama will be responsible for killing hundreds of children sent across our southern border by their parents, who have heard his promises of freebies with no chance of deportation. But what’s a few hundred children when you’re courting the Hispanic vote?

Just so. And congressional Republicans will be blamed for every unaccompanied Mexican child who dies, or who ends up as a sex slave. Even though Obama issued the invitation.

Adolph Hitler was someone's child too.

What's the point?

There’s plenty of things to criticize Obama for, but the killing of Abdulrahman al-Awlaki isn’t one of them, IMHO.

First, it seems he wasn’t the target, an al-Qaeda leader was. We didn’t even know he was there, apparently.

Second, he was in Yemen hanging out with at least two now deceased al-Qaeda members when he died.

Third, he told al-Qaeda members that he had come to Yemen to follow in his terrorist father’s footsteps.

I’m not going to shed any tears when a terrorist sympathizer gets droned while knowingly hanging out with a drone target, even if he was an underage American citizen. It’s not particularly troubling either from the legal perspective, as he wasn’t even the target nor were the CIA aware of his being there.

He died accidentally while deliberately putting himself in harms way by cavorting with an al-Qaeda leader and his jihadist buddies in Yemen. Not exactly typical activity for the average American child.
