Skip to comments. It’s hard to tell who is more dangerous to America; lying GOP consultants or lying “warmists”

The reaction of Republican political consultants raises a question: Which group is more dangerous to the future of America; those who insist amnesty will save the GOP, or those who insist crippling our economy because of man-made climate change will save America?
Last week Eric Cantor, the heir apparent to John Boehners Speakers Gavel, was defeated because of a number of factors but to the average Republican voter, because of the persistent feeling that he was ready to spring amnesty on us the day after he won re-nomination.
His team of political consultants cannot allow this explanation to stand and as a result they are in a high gear re-write of history to dissuade Republican elites from believing it.
Enter Mike Murphy, a man who is deeply invested in perpetuating the lie that Republicans could have won with Mitt Romney if only he had the Hispanic vote. That this has been shredded and shown to be ridiculous by a careful analysis of the 2012 returns means nothing to panicky RINOs who desperately want the New York Times and La Raza to like them and...

Romney was unelectable. This was proven by the fact that he wasn't elected.
Liberal republicans are increasingly unelectable.
If Mitt had even said he needed conservatives to support him and thrown a bone by enunciating even 1 or 2 conservative policies we agreed with, 4 mil or so wouldn't have stayed home. His overpriced wonks said no, so he played it vanilla.
The GOP-e can't out promise the libs and the majority of illegals (who should not even be voting, but are) want the freebies; ergo majority Hispanic votes go to Dems..
This guy is DEAD-ON. Bush used a DEMOCRAT as a pollster (gay one at that, I think).
I don’t know how the Republicans choose who to trust, but they better try VERY HARD to figure out what they’re doing wrong. In the 2008 campaign, Sarah Palin gave her convention speech, and wouldn’t you know it, the teleprompter stopped working right in the middle. Fortunately she has the skill to glide past that, but not everyone. Who was running that teleprompter and was anyone standing over his shoulder? He just as easily could have put Democrat talking points on it.
The Republicans are CONVINCED that anyone they hire is “non-partisan” at worst and cannot believe that FLAMING LIBERALS just love to get into their circles and have some fun with them. They need to realize that most people that get a Political Science degree from Harvard ARE NOT THEIR FRIENDS, but most people that go to community colleges are much more likely to be their friends, or at least neutral.
...but they don’t.
This is from Wikipedia - THREE warning bells:
“He (Murphy) served as a fellow at the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government’s Institute of Politics.”
Yea, a Harvard guy - I was right. Great guy to have helping the Republicans.
“He lives with his wife Tiffany Daniel in Los Angeles, California and also works as a writer and producer in the entertainment industry.”
Good that he decided to be straight (for now), but having a wife in that position in entertainment is NOT A GOOD SIGN, at all.
“In 2013, Murphy was a signatory to an amicus curiae brief submitted to the Supreme Court in support of same-sex marriage during the Hollingsworth v. Perry case.”
There’s some strange political speech going around about the climate, when things are about to get mighty cold. The headlines will be screaming about the cold much more in 3-6 years. See the price trial for propane last winter. And with the EPA ban against wood stoves, wood boilers and pellet stoves on the way (phase 1 in 2015 and the big phase 2 phaseout of those heating devices coming in only five years) enormous numbers of refugees will be headed south.
Reagan didn’t need consultants to tell him where the stand on issues.
What we don't like about these gobshites is, IMNVHO, their interpretation of those numbers. In their highly paid opinions, (ITHPO) the only votes that really really count? Negroes, Latinos, and Women.
Mature American men? White guys? Not enough of'em, and they are scattered, so who really cares what their political thoughts are? All they can make is noise and a lot of the young men are stupid enough to vote Democrat. Consultants are paid to deliver results for their clients. So,to win, especially nationally, the consultants reason, the Republicans' only shot is "Women." To get the white ladies' vote up in the 60% range needed to win a national election, people like Karl Rove reason that the Republicans must avoid tough controversial stands on anything. "Women hate that!" And ... the Republicans must promise'em every possible or impossible government benefit the government showers on Negroes and Latinos, but delivered in an efficient, 'nice' Republican way. This also, say the consultants, is the way to attract the middle-of-the-road-independent, (who IMNVHO, do not exist.)
Hence the consultants deliver namby-pamby Republican candidates who never get tough with opponents, avoid controversial issues, and BTW, usually don't get elected much. That's because no matter how "nice" a Republicans is, the Democrat opponent can be as nasty as hell, but has locked-in inner-city and other die-hard constituencies.
If Brat's win means anything ... which right now is problematical ... it might mean that the woman voter may be getting ready to listen to reason. Maybe the GOP had better provide some.
And every man-jack out there needs to get his ass off the couch, out of the VFW Bar, up-to-date registered, showing up in the election, and screaming (maybe even shooting) about fraud.
