Articles like this are not particularly useful of helpful.......sure Hillary may have been incompetent as Secretary of State and there are very few of us who think she's going to be a good president. But calling her a name in the title of the article, while creating a bunch of positive nods on the conservative side of the aisle will never convince a democrat or moderate she's not qualified to be president. It's name calling that basically drives anyone who might be sympathetic to a conservative cost away.

I'd much rather take time to lay out a logical argument than resorting to Cali g her a hag. My two cents. Flame away if you'd like, but we conservatives are already against her, coming up with a plan to convince fence sitters won't succeed when we use name calling.

You make some good points. If we stick to her record, or lack thereof, there are good arguments to be made. And, let’s use her gaffes against her, such as the absurd claims that she was broke, and how American politics is the most brutal in the world. Let’s expose her for the intellectual lightweight that she is.

this is reminiscent of a time in FR when points of view and arguments that were informative, articulate and well reasoned were much more common than rare.

Sadly, it seems that we've fallen prey at times, to the lure of the other side. They would call Bush names like Hitler and bad mouth others with accusations of racial epithets. They sound and act like 8 year olds.

Hillary Clinton, like Obama, was in over her head at the State Department. Given time, people will come back to earth regarding Clinton. Her popularity is already slipping and given time, she will appear pretty darn beatable.

The old days at the FreeRepublic were, as you wrote, earmarked by reasoned, careful discussions. Hopefully, we will once again find our way back to that level of discourse.
