You make some good points. If we stick to her record, or lack thereof, there are good arguments to be made. And, let’s use her gaffes against her, such as the absurd claims that she was broke, and how American politics is the most brutal in the world. Let’s expose her for the intellectual lightweight that she is.

this is reminiscent of a time in FR when points of view and arguments that were informative, articulate and well reasoned were much more common than rare.
Hillary Clinton, like Obama, was in over her head at the State Department. Given time, people will come back to earth regarding Clinton. Her popularity is already slipping and given time, she will appear pretty darn beatable.
The old days at the FreeRepublic were, as you wrote, earmarked by reasoned, careful discussions. Hopefully, we will once again find our way back to that level of discourse.
