Gee, I was hopping he'd weigh in. I wonder what Walter Koenig and D.C. Fontana think?

I'm pretty sure that the owners of Hobby Lobby aren't worried about Mr. Sulu and his followers boycotting their craft stores.

Why are liberals leaping to islamophobia in order to try and make a point?...since when do they distrust muslims?

>>>declaring that some for-profit companies may block their employees’ access to certain birth control methods<<<

Are Hobby Lobby Executives blocking the entrances to Walmart, Target, CVS and Walgreens so people can’t go there and pay $9 for Birth Control? When did that happen?

"...certain restaurants and hotels have been trying to deploy to allow proprietors to refuse service to gay couples"

I'm a little sick of this idea that gays or anyone else have a right to force others to serve them.

“one wonders whether the case would have come out differently if a Muslim-run chain business attempted to impose Sharia law on its employees”

That’s not analogous.

Hobby Lobby is not imposing any behavior on it’s employees.

“While we work to overturn this decision by legislation”

Another example of the left’s fascism on display. Take note of this, its another occasion on which the mask slips, and at this point, the mask is practically falling off. I’d say what I think should be done with anti-constitutional traitors like this faggot, but since he’s just a washed up never-was actor who takes it up the ass, I won’t bother

So, we're taking moral and legal instruction from a guy who was literally one step in the food chain above Red Shirt Ensign on a television program that lasted all of three seasons, 45 years ago?

Some people simply don't understand their place in the Great Plan.

The point is that government should infringe religious practice and belief as little as possible, and only for a very good reason. Aspects of shariah law would be intolerable, although even there, if a burkha was mandated for women, one could choose not to work there. Here, the government is forcing owners of a private company to pay for actions that go against their beliefs, a ridiculous and unnecessary law in any event since birth control costs practically nothing and is hardly being “denied” by the employer.

Lefties like to distract when they have no ideas to counter an opposing arguement. Sharia isn’t relevant but to answer, if the govt was telling a Muslim owned company to buy pork for its employees than that company would win with the SC based on this decision.

Notice how lefties never use that scenerio!

Businesses must and should be required to comply with neutrally crafted laws...

Hey George, show me ONE "neutrally crafted law" ANYWHERE. C'mon, something agenda-free. Just one, George. C'mon, you can do it...

Not.

If Sharia law and a business were in question, I would assume the out come would be the same. If a business wants to adhere to Sharia law and you don’t like it, don’t go to work for them.

Why does Ensign Rump Ranger give a rat’s ass about abortions?

It’s not like it will ever affect him.

I won't be shopping there, and women everywhere should exercise their right of protest and refuse to shop there as well,” Takei said.

A rather hollow threat since Hobby Lobby doesn't sell Gerbils.

So their refusal to pay for abortions is the same as sharia? Boy is he stupid.

may block their employees' access to certain birth control methods.

How is it blocking their access? They can't get it any other way?

Propaganda is propaganda, and the "news" media sure are good at it.

What I find galling is that one has to claim some religious belied to be free. That can’t last. Once you start dividing freedom you end up with less and less. I’m sure the founding fathers never envisioned a time when the fist amendment had to be invoked to escape such coercive federal dictates. Long live King George!

Yo, Takei, a couple questions...

1st: How has it become to pass we buy so much from China? Could it be policies dictated by your butt-buddy supporters enablers on Capitol Hill?

2nd: Hobby Lobby only refuses to pay directly for its employees' abortifacients. They're not trying to forbid their use by said employees.

3rd: Bugger off!
