Are you sad because the GunTalk radio show with the awesome Tom Gresham ended it's last few minutes, and you have to wait a week for another firearms-related radio show to appear so you can listen?
Do you crave to hear from the experts across the nation about our current problems regarding twisted politicians inflicting their anti-gun agendas on free Americans?
Do you fear the way certain government groups like the ATF changing the rules in the middle of the game -making law abiding gun owners into felons overnight?
Do you enjoy going out in your yard on a weekend to grill up some juicy steaks...with a Smith and Wesson M&P Shield on your hip?
Well, pull up a chair. You're in for a treat!
I’m hoping they talk about the current invasion of illegals going on.
Thanks for the ping; listening to Gun Talk live radio right now.
Tomorrow’s confrontation in Murietta CA, isn’t going to end well.
Is Gresham talking about the invasion today?
A caller mentioned it and the coming Murietta showdown, but Target and the Nevada CCW holder’s killing are the topics de jour. I’ve been in and out all afternoon, doing chores, so will have to re-listen tonite at 8.
Same here. Laundry day today.
Good Murietta thread over here:
Yeah. I’m following that one and this one all day:
Pretty scary stuff. I hope those patriots are carrying loads of video cameras and other recording gear.
Hi, I hope you are doing well.
In the fwiw dept, if Target doesn’t want me to open carry that’s fine by me. If they have a problem with concealed carry, then there is Wally World.
This isn’t going to end well, like Bundy’s confrontation did.
Doing pretty good. Spent the day yesterday looking for the remaining tools I’ll need for my first AR-15 build.
We all must keep strong and determined.
Agreed; if the SHTF tomorrow, it’s going to be a long and protracted fight. Boston x 1,000.
I hope you find those tools.
We are going to need them.
Apparently, to get the rabid mothers’ group off their backs, Target “asked” gun owners not to bring them into stores, but refused to “demand” and hasn’t posted it as policy. Big topic on Gun Talk Radio show today.
I think that the only things left to get are the receiver vice blocks for the upper and lower.
I’m getting a LOT of help from the guys at the AR-15 Podcast.
I read that a few days ago. Interesting.
Like they’re going middle of the road to try and please everyone.
And you know what happens when people try to make everyone like them...
What trigger assembly are you going with? Geissele or Timney?
I just got the basic trigger that came with the parts kit, but will switch to a Geissele after I get some experience with the platform.
I’ve been a pistol guy my whole life, and have never fired an AR. I want to go with what works to start with so I’ll have a good baseline to learn what I should improve on it.
Good plan. I have several AR-15s and several AR-10s, with a couple each under NFA/Class III category, and use both Geissele and Timney, depending upon shooting application.
It’s going to be one of those oh-so-common, “One part per paycheck,” kind of things. My Wife is a Stay-At-Home-Mom, and I must spend accordingly.
Plus, it’ll give me the opportunity to take everything apart, put it back together, take it apart, etc and so-on. I’ll need to learn and hone this skill over time if I am to become proficient with this breed of weaponry.
Two hours and ten minutes until AAR airtime.
I know exactly what you mean. I’ve been working on my small, but specialized ‘collection’ since 2001. Doing them a piece at-a-time, yourself, is often more meaningful when considering the final outcome of the project.
Fourty-Five minutes until AAR Airtime.
I wish I had taken on this sooner. I realize that my pistols are the tools needed to get to my rifles. And, I’m slapping myself in the face for not doing this before other expenditures took precedent.
Always better late than never. Congrats on your project and patience. It’ll be an instant and prized family heriloom, with quite a story behind it; be sure to document all the steps for posterity.
One minute until airtime!
Thank you. It’s a fun thing to do. But, patience is something that I’m good at -no matter how much it hurts..
