More at link. The Russkies are also apparently shelling civilians and hoping to blame it on the Ukrainians. I saw this before in a video report where the separatists, apparently, began randomly shelling civilians, according to a fellow who lived there. All the polls in the region have always shown that the separatists only enjoy a minority of support, even after months of Russian propaganda from their state television. The Russkies probably want to leave a big mess to justify themselves in world public opinion. However, I doubt they're actually going to invade. Putin has been playing this border game for months now, and his state-controlled media is already blaming the loss of their "NovoRussiya" dreams on the alleged incompetence and ambition of Strelkov, Putin's GRU agent and so-called leader of the "People's Republic of Donetsk."
If Putin was going to invade, I think he would have done it already under the thousand and one pretexts Russian state-controlled media has invented.
