MSNBC fill-in host and Georgetown University professor Michael Eric Dyson is no fan of calling for a presidents ouster . . . unless its George W. Bush. Although he personally signed his name onto a group looking to create a political situation where Bush himself is driven from office, Dyson labeled Sarah Palins comments about impeaching President Obama as treasonous accusations.
The president is acutely aware of the dire situation facing the children and their families crossing into the United States, as evidenced by his tireless effort to help them, he said on Wednesdays show in defense of President Obama. The presidents push towards positive and crucial change was met with treasonous accusations.
During the Bush years, however, Dyson was one of many signees to The World Cant Wait! organization, which listed a series of grievances against Bush, including moving each day closer to a theocracy of a narrow and hateful brand of Christian fundamentalism and likening the former president to Hitler.
People look at all this and think of Hitler and they are right to do so, the group says in the About section on its website. The Bush regime is setting out to radically remake society very quickly, in a fascist way, and for generations to come. We must act now; the future is in the balance.
In addition to Dyson, the organizations supporters include other celebrity activists, such as Cornel West and Susan Sarandon. It also includes several lawmakers, among them Democratic representatives John Conyers of Michigan, Bobby Rush of Illinois, and Maxine Waters of California, as well as other former legislators, such as Senator Mark Gravel of Alaska and Representative Cynthia McKinney of Georgia.
never heard of this commentator but obviously either a shill for the IslamoNazi moles in WashDC or else completely divorced from reality (a nut case that should be locked up for effetive treatment or at least protective care)
I suppose it is also "treasonous" to vote for a non-Democrat?
“The presidents push towards positive and crucial change was met with accusations of treason..
there fixed it
Uh, who is this doosh and why should we be concerned?
These people always get away with their contradictions. Remember Chris Mathews going nuts over Rush calling the Obama administration a “regime”? Though he had said the same thing about Bush. Nobody called him on it to his face.
Isn’t Georgetown the place which let O cover up its crucifixes to protect O from any identification with Christianity?
A degree from Georgetown isn’t worth a warm bucket of spit.
Michael Dyson = Left Wing Uncle Tom
He obviously has no idea what Treason is. Furthermore, Impeachment is provided for in the Constitution - oh wait - liberals HATE the Constitution unless they can twist it to their purposes.
Yes, like a cross to a vampire.
Exactly correct. This shows that the looney tune left equates Obama with the Constitution. Apparently they hated GWB because he was not, their king. Not because he over stepped his authority. Supporting a king over a constitution is treasonous. And every Obama loving progressive and every wetback loving GOP elite is guilty of it.
Indeed. Other then for the very slightest
verneer of pretense for necessary political cover, he’s demonstrated an intense hatred of just about anything Christian, catholic, or Jewish. Line an allergic reaction really
“He’s probably the biggest white hating racist on
He’d have to beat out Hussein, his “wife” Michelle, and Eric Holder for that honor.
I wonder what Georgetown University professor Michael Eric Dyson thought of the book (play?) that called for President Bush’s assassination? I’m sure that was a Freedom of Speech issue...
Al Sharpton wanna-be. How low do you have to go to be a Rev, Al wanna-be? These morons on MSNBC feel free to say any stupid thing that they can dream up because they know nobody will call them on it. Imagine Krauthammer tearing this moron a new one.
Grew up in and around Detroit. From about 8-9 years old on. It was corruption, graft and the US auto companies that destroyed Detroit.
Carp with teeth, nothing but a bottom feeder. This crowd only thinks that republicans are impeachable.
As much as I despise this puke — Dyson — I don’t see any evidence in the article that he actually called for Bush’s impeachment.
The Call to Drive Out the Bush Regime
US auto companies, really? How do you explain how screwed up pretty much every other place in the USA is where there is a large concentration of black people and no auto industry? Even when the surrounding area is mostly OK like in Houston, Dallas, Memphis, East ST Louis, NOLA, Omaha, KC, Minneapolis, etc.? I would blame the welfare state and the destruction of the traditional family that comes with it more that any other factor, but that is just me.
Was talking about Detroit. A place I know of intimately. Can give you specific examples of how those companies were run by some of the worse people on the planet, but that would take too long. At any rate, what does welfare have to do with skin color ?
The whites living in Detroit were just as bad as the blacks. It was a societal problem. These people were just scumbags. Plain and simple. Screw you and give me mine. That was their attitude. Same attitude exists right now in Miami. In 20 years it will look like Detroit with palm trees.
Black people are roughly 13% of the US population but 39.8% of welfare recipients are black. You tell me what skin color has to do with it.
Coleman Young and company had nothing to do with Detroit going down the tubes?
I think that when you have a group that makes up 13% of the population of a society committing 49% of the murders and 55% of the robberies in that society (http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/crime-in-the-u.s/2011/crime-in-the-u.s.-2011/tables/table-43), it indicates problems within that group. I also think that makes it pretty simple to understand why any area with a majority population of members of that group will likely not be prosperous and will probably have relatively high crime and corruption rates. I believe that the destruction of the traditional two parent family among blacks by the welfare state explains the current state of affairs much better than blaming any corporation does. I do not think it is Chevys fault that Detroit and many other cities in the US are going down the tubes.
